You can let them know ahead of time that you are not interested in a romantic relationship. This is especially true for a Church leader. For example, I would have told the sister that I am intending to propose to someone else before requesting her help in choosing the ring and venue of the proposal ceremony.

Feels so refreshing to see how the cast allows Jesus to use them in delivering important messages that pertain to all walks of life. I think the Papa too is questionable to a degree. He can't entirely play the game of being unaware of her intentions. He just used her to his advantage. Otherwise, why did he have to explain himself to her when she came into the parlour and met him and the other sister?... Hmm...I get the point of the story sha abeg oo😂

Very painful thing Christian brothers do to sisters, and sisters too will not pray, they just want to marry that anointed brother. Brother too will dribble them. When you are in line with God's will and you are very focus and careful of not marrying out of God's will, you won't fall into this trap.

I know sometimes this may happen but like the papa said, if he never asked you out on a date, what are the chances that he’s going to marry you out of nowhere? These are the painful things about unrequited love and having crushes, if you don’t say anything he won’t know you like him so much! And if he doesn’t say anything to you then either he doesn’t like you in that way or he is not ready. It’s really painful ! But communication is key and prayer to God to know if someone is equally yoked to you or not. I could tell the papa was just asking her questions for her help and not because he wanted to marry her, mainly because I’ve learned that men’s words may be deceiving and misleading sometimes but because she was already crushing on him, she jumped to conclusions that he wants her and her dreams have come true. I do think since men know that women are the weaker vessel then the men should also be careful how they say things and try to make it clear their intentions with the opposite sex, even if they’re just friends, cause the minds of women can easily wander.
