For offside bulb, take the fuse box cover off. You can easily get a screwdriver on the top of the plug and finger at the bottom to prise it off the bulb.
You've saved my life mate!! Halfords told me I'd have to take it to a garage to have the headlight taken out. I followed your video and did it myself. Cheers!!

Excellent video though please note to replace the offside headlamp bulb (as I did) the access is more restricted by various engine parts, HOWEVER with patience and the aid of a small pliers it can be done as I proved. Thanks Gerard Burke for a very clear and useful video which saves time and money!

Hello, my offisde dip light needs replacing, this video shows its not that hard but as one said, he had to do the offside/passanger side one. There is a fuse box and others in the way making it hard for any hand I think to work in, can I unmount them to make work easier? Many thanks

Changed my offside dipped light today as it was blown out. Tried to change the near side but can't reach in there. I have 2014 model 208. How difficult is it to remove the headlight assembly so i can reach?

I saw a * tiny spring latch* on the bulb before releasing the bulb itself (on a year 2015 facelift model -Malaysia local assembled )
*remove the spring latch*, and you will be able to take out the bulb

What lights is good for the side lights for white
As a general comment, if you have a problem with the side of the fusebox I had the same issue, a friend of mine used a screwdriver as a lever because the thumb could not fit in, and it works.
Absolutely listen to this advice, worked for me also. Unless you have hands like Jeremy Beadle you aren’t going to be able to this clip off without a screwdriver or something similar to release the top part.

You can get a clip or replacement spring from eBay.

HI do you have one on how to change the drivers left hand headlight, everything we see for the left is for a 308 and cant find anything
It's a bit more complicated because of the fuse box. It's freaking hard to fit your hand in there to detach the connector, so use a plier
great vid but wondering what's the smaller round light next to it called and does it use the same bulb? Mine has just gone :/

It actually says so on the plastic holder thing you pull off with the lamp ;)

No need for that.
Just don’t turn on the lights when working on them

How come you pull the bulb out at 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock but put back in at 12?
His camera is not straight and that’s why he put an arrow pointing to the “Top”
My hand is a bit big to remove the one on the left...the fusebox is on the way

Its a massive ball ache doing the passenger side not a lot of room to work
By any chance can you do the DRL for peugeot?
I record and edit problems/jobs that come my way in the workshop, if it ever does I will but where I live currently in Australia has very limited amounts of Peugeot's on the road.

Can you take the head lamp out?
Yes you can by removing more parts but no need to. It is not a designed headlamp for easy removal so useless the light is damaged etc.. it would not be option in removal of a bulb.

Yes, the tricky side
Easy enough but when you accidentally unclip the little metal holder on the side where the fuse box is then your in for a long one. (Ask me how I know)

You didn't do the left part which is much harder
Unless the beams are switched on UK models, the exterior is high/full and the interior one is the low/dipped.
Not on my 2014 model 208 (also UK). It's the same as in the video. Maybe you have a newer year?
@@RozumUniversalRobot In that case the beams are switched. Mine is 2015, EU model and the beams are as I stated above.
