Sorry ima little confuse. I just finished beating the two bosses, the last one was the one with the dragon head hand! . Do I need to do more story things or cna i head to the castle and beat the guy and get the sword already?
The thing with this weapon is that, since the very beginning, netizen/people have been spreading fake info about how obtaining it early will ruin some quests or activate Radahn's festival, which is so untrue.
Therefore, I included my progress info at the beginning of the video to show that, yes, one can obtain it early without it affecting anything.

Idk about you guys, but that was unironically the hardest boss in the entire game for me
Definitely but one of the hardest. Crucible knight alone is hard enough let alone together with the Misbegotten warrior
apparently I ended up taking the wrong portal and got ruins great sword before defeating radahn. And now I'm tuck the npc jerran is just sitting in a chair doing nothing. How do I get to radahn now ?
There are three ways to trigger this:
- Activating any Altus Plateau Site of Grace (The Sites of Grace within Volcano Manor don't count, so in order to activate the festival from the Raya Lucaria teleport you must defeat either the Abductor Virgins or Rykard).
- Informing Blaidd about Radahn in Siofra River (This requires Ranni's questline).
- Talking to Iji about Jerren (This also requires Ranni's questline).

im a little confused about what triggered radahn festival, i just came there but there wasnt a thing, my first visit there was something firing at me but my second visit there was nothing
It's actually pretty straightforward, 2 ways: resting at Altus Plateau's grace site (activating the lift or not doesn't matter) or proceeding with Ranni's quest to a point where Sellen asked you to get rid of Radahn to stop him from stopping the movement of the stars.

I alr killed those 2 bosses but i didnt get ruin's greatsword. Idk if i did smt wrong (im a new player and i probably did smt wrong 💀 )
Don't worry, it's easy to miss the Ruins Greatsword even after defeating the Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight duo at Redmane Castle Plaza.
Here's what likely happened and how to fix it:
Timing is Key:
1. The Ruins Greatsword is only obtainable BEFORE you trigger the Radahn Festival OR AFTER you've defeated Starscourge Radahn and exhausted the dialogue of Witch-Hunter Jerren at Redmane Castle. If you triggered the festival and then defeated Radahn, the boss fight won't reappear, and you'll miss the sword.
How to Get the Ruins Greatsword:
1. Defeated Radahn? If you've already defeated Radahn, talk to Witch-Hunter Jerren at the chapel in Redmane Castle until he has nothing new to say. Rest at a Site of Grace, and the boss duo should respawn in the plaza.
2. Haven't Defeated Radahn? Proceed to the festival and defeat Radahn. Afterward, return to Redmane Castle, exhaust Jerren's dialogue, rest at a Site of Grace, and the boss duo will be back.

4. Claim Your Reward

If you did the festival or did Sellen's quest before talking to Jerren and killing him, both bosses for the sword won't spawn.
