Gilly, Wow, that is one long process 😉 and not for the "faint" of heart! I think this adventure turned out lovely, and you learning with us makes your learning show with us too. I find this is way more than I would undertake, but it is nice to know before I did ever try this form of artwork. Thanks so much for sharing, I always love your videos 🤗😚❤
Thank you Gilly. I am just beginning my journey as an artist, and find your down to earth approach very helpful. Is it possible you could do an up to date beginner video for the acrylic painting please? I have watched the ones I could find and noticed some of the products you use/recommend are not available on the website anymore. Many thanks. (Also from Qld Oz.)☺️
@@gillykubeart Again many thanks. I would like to know if you need paint medium if you use floetrol, how to clean / remove silicone off the dry painting, and how to seal the finished product in particular please. Have a great day. 🥰
I think if you put some clear resin down, then blow the white over the clear you should get the frothy wave effect. Erika at Artist Til Death here on YT has videos on it. The tabletop and small boards are so pretty! I keep saying I have to get back into resin and paint pouring, I did enjoy it 😊
Loved that. Did the gold dry much lighter or was that the lighting/shimmer? The only other resin projects I’ve seen are a kitchen counter covered in clean pennies and then clear resin poured over (masking tape around the edges to stop it going over the edges and down the cupboard doors and floor), and a wooden table with a massive crack in which they filled with a dark blue resin, maybe clear resin over the whole lot afterward. ❤
Thank you for being willing to try new things on camera! Your willingness to give things a go is inspiring!
You are so welcome!😊
I think that’s what you call a happy a accident. It’s beautiful 😍

Everything looks wonderful. FYI, Maria Brooks has a YT channel and gives her full recipe. It is different. Was not sure if you knew she had a channel.
Yes I have spoken to Maria via pm 😃
