Thanks, Deni. Hundertwasser is very interesting because of how he touched so many aspects of life and living. Way more than just a painting on the wall. Albert

Hi Albert, thank you for your brief and brilliant videos about making imperfect art..Since I have been blocking myself from getting back to painting. D uring the Pandemic it was impossible for me to do much using my creativity. Your fresh encouragement is about to erase my apathy and L

Even when I don't want to create art like the artist profiled, I thoroughly enjoy your lessons on how to see what the artist was doing, and why. Your lessons are clear, and understandable and enjoyable. Also makes me miss the Nederlands. :) Thank you for your time and labor on these lessons.

Hi Duckideva, thanks. I rise to the level of entertainment, 😁 never thought of it that way when I started. Great to hear though. How come you miss the Netherlands? Just curious. Have a nice day and stay safe, Albert

@@ImperfectPaintings Oh, part of my family is Dutch, and I haven't been back to see them or it in so long, and now with the pandemic...who knows when travel will be viable again? Watching you pedal around the canals in one of your videos, for a landscape, just made me remember cool summer mornings, bike rides, coffee and ham and chocolate for breakfast. ;)

Hi Duckideva, thanks for replying. Always fun to hear things like this. Dutch people ended up everywhere. The country is still beautiful and we still have chocolate for breakfast 'hagelslag', foreigners don't get it but it's delicious. Bye, Albert

Absolutely outstanding deconstruction, insight and teaching methods. Thanks so much for this lesson. I love Hundertwasser and his work. I visited some of the buildings that he developed on visits to Vienna. I always wondered how was inspired. Your lesson inspired the answers I was seeking. Thanks Albert for all the work and effort you put into developing and sharing these lessons. Keep safe and stay healthy. Salim

Hi Salim, thanks. Funny guy this Hundertwasser, but at the same time a very interesting artist. I especially love the ecological and spiritual aspect of his work. It makes me think about how we tend to look at nature as a thing to exploit for personal gain. I dream of times where co-existence is the leading principle. Albert

Albert you did a good job of capturing Hundertwasser's essence. Not an easy task considering much of his work was silkscreen, but I would think a transparent paint like watercolor or acrylic could be used to get an approximation. You did a good job of teaching that and exposing him to a larger audience. I enjoy his bright colors, the layering, the childlike whimsy, and the environmental influences of his work. He would have been an interesting artist to take some lessons from. Stay safe, and thanks.

Hi Culture Fan, thanks. Just 1 video can't tell it all, unfortunately. Maybe a second one would be nice in a few months. I would like to dive more into his paintings material-wise. Thanks for you reaction, I appreciate it a lot. Bye, Albert

This is so awesome! I love that you included your own examples of landscape, portrait, and building design in your video. The seashell, tree trunk and spiderweb examples are brilliant. I can't wait to do Hunderwasser designs with my students. Thanks so much for the inspiration, Albert!

Hallo Ellen, bedankt. Het is 11 km en met een elektrische fiets prima te doen, altijd wind in de rug. Hundertwasser ken ik al heel lang, het is zo'n interessante kunstenaar met zoveel aspecten. Ook het ecologische spreekt me erg aan. Groeten, Albert
