This is my go to all over quilting design on my HQ Sweet 16. I have done dozens of quilts with this design, and it looks great with any quilt pattern. Easy to master with practice and fills up space well.
Thank you for this video, I love it, but i wish it would be a little longer on a larger quilt to see more of how you move around the quilt and continue changing the direction of the paisley. That is my biggest challenge with e2e hand guided designs, especially the paisley.
I have a 18 pro sit down where you move the fabric by hand. Do you prefer the stand up with handles? I’m thinking of converting to stand up but don’t have much space in my sewing room. I loved your video on the paisley!
I have both now-a stand up apqs Millie and a sit down apqs George. I would find it really hard to choose between them. You can’t beat Millie for getting quilts done since it has a computer option. But I find quilting on George much more relaxing. If I was doing a freehand small quilt, I’d probably finish it all on the sit down :)
Hi I'm watching your videos. I'm having a hard time with the quilt when I'm quilting - any suggestions? I do a few lines then i have to stop to adjust - is that normal? Seems like I'll never finish or i might make a mess. Thank you.
I've begun incorporating both the longarming and domestic quilting in my newest quilt videos :). It was a common request and I'm so happy to have fit it in!
Your comforting advice is so encouraging to this anxious newbie.

I have a HQ Sweet 16 too & just did a whole quilt top with this design too. So pretty
Thank you for showing us this design and your tips about what will be noticeable in the design. Very good points!
Wow, beautiful. You make it look so easy and I know it’s not. I haven’t started that part of quilting yet. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊

The style your quilting still looks great to the quilt.
I just setup my very first quilting frame and I'm going through all of your videos
I’ve watched your videos on quilting and just found the longer videos. Love them and would love to see more!

Love your quilting videos… hope you will do more?..
Thanks for sharing. This is very helpful.
I noticed a measuring tape on one of your upper frame poles. Great idea! Did you tape or glue in place?
Thanks I liked the tip to not have all returning to the same point. Nice video.
Beautiful quilting
Thank you!

Do you have FMQ videos on a small home machine?

I am new to long arm quilting and have tried to practice with pen and paper and have found I do better practicing with machine rather than pencil..
are all long arms so noisy?
