I unfortunately got shafted for Majin Vegeta, and being forced to face him every match makes the game so unenjoyable. He just does too much to the point that it is either you run him or you lose.

@@RobG2001 99% of viable reds die to green card+ult. Treeku is solid but UL UI and SSJ2 gohan are below the standards unless you have 10+stars on them. My 5star UI dies in 2,3 blasts and FSK is not much better. Both of them are abviously ult one shots and even though they can counter his counter they still made a mediocre tradeoff. His counter got him off a whole combo and your counter only neutralizes a single blue card.

the difference with ultrahan is that if you activated his counter you didnt die. you activate vegetas counter and your unit loses more than 50% hp this is why umv feels worse which he actually is. people are just grasping at straws defending majin vegeta cause its the first meta vegeta unit in this game's history lol

honestly i really love the rants and criticisms of the games that you talk about. it gives reassurance that im doing the correct thing to wait to play pvp until the game is in a better state rather than forcing myself to fight matches that go on forever and arent enjoyable to play. and this is coming from someone who has gotten shafted on nearly every banner so getting the "counters" to these characters just isn't a thing for me. the game is in a bad spot rn and people need to just accept that

Majin Vegeta is not as much of a problem as the combo of Treeku and Turles. That combo started this all, they could have released any ultra and the team would have been treeku, turles and the new unit.

I agree that Turles/Treeku is mainly at fault for the meta we have now but MV is definitely not a good addition outside of being a Vegeta unit. Multiple disrupts and a counter gauge that locks in and punishes the opponent on activation might be the most toxic mechanic we've been introduced to this year

The thing that makes Majin Vegeta so insane too is that he has like a TON of intangibles. He's increasing sub count by 5. He's inflicting a ton of bleed and recovery down. He's drawing a green with his blue when his gauge is full. He's nullifying destroy card effects. His buffs activate when he is FACED with an enemy not just when he enters the battlefield. He's overtuned in so many ways that he really didn't need to be

SURELY it's not intentional. because the power creep has gotten so bad to the point where it's hurting their revenue because why the hell would i even consider a rerun when every unit becomes irrelevant after the 6 month mark.
the difference between using him and not using him is actually crazy. I play casually and somehow have managed to get very high ranks because of him. Its like you mentioned in the video that sometimes i dont want to even switch with him and stay with him for 50-60 counts. He is just so opressive

i do watch you to get good your point of views from a very dedicated player, as for the point that you raised, yes i got to 70 this seasson due to how long it was, MV also helps a lot because he carries too much if both players are of equal skill the one that has MV filters the other one, since he resets to neutral many times.
I like how now that vegeta is the newest best character, now the aoe green card and lockins are a problem. When ultimate Gohan came in with short animation blue card spam, ss2 Gohan came in with the same sort of pseudo lockin and aoe green card, they were soo fun. It is ironic when people were wanting a very powerful Vegeta character and now that he is as good as he is, now all those mechanics are a problem.
Gohans pseudo lock-in was on his green card, UMV litteraly gets that just by entering the field. Im glad we got a meta Vegeta but he has way too much snipe potential and his 3x blue card counter is just toxic asf

I use Majin Vegeta and I think he's a ton of fun. I'm not God Rank so it's probably because I don't see him paired too often with Tree of Might Goku or Turles who are the real problems when it comes to the team since Majin Vegeta doesn't usually make things go to timer with his Buu Saga team. Majin Vegeta is a really fun and good character, and we can finally have a good Vegeta unit, but he should've been released after Tree of Might GOku and Turles were starting to age, not when they were still the pinnacle of the game.
I personally do like Majin Vegeta as a character, so I like using him in pvp, but I would agree that I feel obligated to use him because of how good he is.
I'd say both. I use him because he's my favorite dragon ball character, and I've wanted a good solo Vegeta for so long. I also use him because he's one of the only units I have that's usable in pvp. He may be a smidge toxic tho
The treeku and turles combo is what started this stuff like they are so busted that you could make anyone you’re third unit even if they suck and you could still win 🙃
I'm not using MV because I'm forced to, I'm using him because in 6 years Vegeta got severely disrespected in Legends and MV in particular is my favorite Vegeta form. Sure he's boring to use but it's still Vegeta's time to shine in Legends, possibly the only chance he'll ever get.
How you feel about Majin Vegeta is the way I felt about using UG4 when he released. He was so mind numbingly broken that it took away some of the enjoyment from the game when I used him.
people who enjoy these new meta characters worked and had to just hope they would get even one copy of the character, unlike the mindset you have where you know youre getting the character and maxing it out. not knocking your effort or what you do, but not everyone guarantees the new character
We defo need more characters to be imune to aoe green Cards imo That’s what makes lf omega really good and super saiyan god Goku too its not a too broken mechanic yet it impacts the fight in a way to help you fight against characters like UMV

The problem with these units is not they re toxic cause of their gimmick but how they are being used.UG4 and UMV in my opinion are offensive units and people use them like their green card is their best part.when I face an opponent who uses UMV like I do (offensively) the match doesn't last long for either of us.
Im even more nervous on how they’re gonna handle the counter for majin vegeta, id rather have a character that’s okay but heavily counters him, like how pikkon/gogeta did to janemba, rather than a insanely dominate character like super 17 did to UI goku
I'm having very much fun using Majin Vegeta cause I'm doing this with a Vegeta clan team with Super Vegeta rather than every other person running treeku, turles UMV combo.
I legit run somethin VERY similar to this comp. Since I don’t have Treeku im actually runnin Feetku but i don’t have Bardock Zenkaied so my bench is Zenkai SSJ2 Goku, EvoGeta, & OG Nameku. Team got me to my first god rank
People talk about ultra Vegeta 1. It's a first for Vegeta to actually be good and also assumable ultra 2. Turtles is much better in a 1v1 scenario versus Majin Vegeta 3. In my personal opinion turtle is better but yet he's just fine like let Vegeta have this second of Glory because it ain't coming back
we need more dragon ball protection and maybe immune to auto counter gauges like majin vegeta and ss4 gogeta when they fill their own gauge. for example land 3 cards and when the gauge activates you are immune to dragon ball destruction and nullify auto counter gauges for 5 timer counter or 10. then it resets.
I really agree with you this year it has been really boring and not fun even though the start of it was good with spirit bomb goku but now they are only dropping strong boring characters
From my experience the problem is not umv but I call it the green card meta and these stand still players with turles and gotanks which is a great character but these greens card spams is ridiculous and turles I dont understand why thay chosen to make him regain health instead of just being a tank and the comeback literally is a free combo and it sucks if the enemy gets the right cards its easily a 99+ combo instead thay should of just remove ki raise arts cost the vanish removal was just unnecessary and add that with characters who all remove buff effects and non cancelled endurance just sucks this meta is literally if you dont have these characters you lose and its atrocious and sickening
26:47 so I’ve been playing since 1st anniversary and I can honestly say never in my life have I been bored of a unit this much. Majin vegeta was also the reason I hit my first god rank and don’t feel proud abt it at all. The only thing that I can say was slightly fun abt majin was constantly drawing green cards out of luck and forcing so many forfeits because of it. Other than that he’s boring. He offers nothing new,just a broken ultra.

I think the only reason you'd use Majin Vegeta is because of his oppressive presence in the meta, not because he is genuinely fun. He is not "tightly designed" or "unique", he was just created to be a roadblock and it disrupts the flow of every single match. I think this Legends Fest needs to reset this atrocious meta and make the game feel actually fun because the amount of options we are given as players is so limited that there is genuinely no point in using anything else besides 2 teams in order to even have a chance. You'd think with the character choices this year that it'd be an amazing year but it's turned into one of the worst in this game's history.
havent played much legends this season, only doing dailys, playing co-op instead of pvp, bc you cant enjoy the game with majin vegeta in every match, this is the first time since the fsk, future, and revival gohan meta where i just have no motivation to play the game
If they released an ultra or lf kefla bekive it would help fix many of the games teams since it would oppen the op teams where there is no putting in a goku or vageta

we need a character who has permanent card draw destruction protection, destroys blue cards when they get locked in and removes vanish, and is red. Also can tag and draws a strike card every time they do so, and when they fuse they get an ultimate that ignores buff removal. Pls make goku black and zamasu just like this toshi

To answer the question that goresh asked in the video I would only use UMV (if I had him) not because I would have fun but because I haven’t pulled a new unit since S17 released and I want to take revenge on everyone who has exterminated me with the new units Edit: I also spent 60k cc on the anniversary and like 100euro and didn’t pull anything I took a break from the game for 2 months and now I open it from time to time to play some PvP.
The problem for me is just these characters that have the aspect of "plays the game for you" like Ulthan, UG4, UMV, these characters after a couple of weeks just become boring and annoying to fight because you have to worry about their gauge, what their cards can do, when they draw cards or get buffs or apply debuffs... so it just become obnoxious.
I think one way they can solve the timer meta they just to make units with assault chain except it’s actually good. These counter gauges whenever there meta (which is basically always the case) slow the game down into a unfun and boring experience. Or simply stop making counter gauges a thing. It’s boring, it’s unfun I can’t believe in a pvp game they would make a mechanic that rewards the player for losing the neutral.
Man the thing that i hate about the game right now that there is no team variations and if you want to rank you will have to use one team every one uses with the new units ,i hoped that in god rank they make alot of teams good like you can rank with future unirep fusion powerful opp

I'd say both. I use him because he's my favorite dragon ball character, and I've wanted a good solo Vegeta for so long. I also use him because he's one of the only units I have that's usable in pvp. He may be a smidge toxic tho
The treeku and turles combo is what started this stuff like they are so busted that you could make anyone you’re third unit even if they suck and you could still win 🙃

UMV is just like Ultra Janemba. If you have him you win matches with ease.
I'm actually having fun using UMV because I love to see one shot UG4 after I did not get him, and he's the reason I quite the game for 2 month
I'm not using MV because I'm forced to, I'm using him because in 6 years Vegeta got severely disrespected in Legends and MV in particular is my favorite Vegeta form.
Sure he's boring to use but it's still Vegeta's time to shine in Legends, possibly the only chance he'll ever get.
How you feel about Majin Vegeta is the way I felt about using UG4 when he released. He was so mind numbingly broken that it took away some of the enjoyment from the game when I used him.

people who enjoy these new meta characters worked and had to just hope they would get even one copy of the character, unlike the mindset you have where you know youre getting the character and maxing it out. not knocking your effort or what you do, but not everyone guarantees the new character
We defo need more characters to be imune to aoe green Cards imo That’s what makes lf omega really good and super saiyan god Goku too its not a too broken mechanic yet it impacts the fight in a way to help you fight against characters like UMV

goresh may not be #1 on the leaderboard but we all know nobody in this game is better than goresh. I mean the blue bros and SoH Trunk team revisit proves that this man went to TIMER against the second best team in the game as of current. he did lose that match but the fact that he went to timer goes to show that 90% of all players in this game are genuinely just carried by busted units

The problem with these units is not they re toxic cause of their gimmick but how they are being used.UG4 and UMV in my opinion are offensive units and people use them like their green card is their best part.when I face an opponent who uses UMV like I do (offensively) the match doesn't last long for either of us.

Im even more nervous on how they’re gonna handle the counter for majin vegeta, id rather have a character that’s okay but heavily counters him, like how pikkon/gogeta did to janemba, rather than a insanely dominate character like super 17 did to UI goku

I'm having very much fun using Majin Vegeta cause I'm doing this with a Vegeta clan team with Super Vegeta rather than every other person running treeku, turles UMV combo.
I legit run somethin VERY similar to this comp. Since I don’t have Treeku im actually runnin Feetku but i don’t have Bardock Zenkaied so my bench is Zenkai SSJ2 Goku, EvoGeta, & OG Nameku. Team got me to my first god rank

i agree with the main character statement, since i don’t have tre goku, i run, Ultra Majin vegeta, goku and bardock, and fusing gogeta blue
People talk about ultra Vegeta 1. It's a first for Vegeta to actually be good and also assumable ultra 2. Turtles is much better in a 1v1 scenario versus Majin Vegeta 3. In my personal opinion turtle is better but yet he's just fine like let Vegeta have this second of Glory because it ain't coming back
I think if UMV not does an aoe damage to opponent team with his ultimate, it would make him more balanced.
we need more dragon ball protection and maybe immune to auto counter gauges like majin vegeta and ss4 gogeta when they fill their own gauge. for example land 3 cards and when the gauge activates you are immune to dragon ball destruction and nullify auto counter gauges for 5 timer counter or 10. then it resets.
I really agree with you this year it has been really boring and not fun even though the start of it was good with spirit bomb goku but now they are only dropping strong boring characters

From my experience the problem is not umv but I call it the green card meta and these stand still players with turles and gotanks which is a great character but these greens card spams is ridiculous and turles I dont understand why thay chosen to make him regain health instead of just being a tank and the comeback literally is a free combo and it sucks if the enemy gets the right cards its easily a 99+ combo instead thay should of just remove ki raise arts cost the vanish removal was just unnecessary and add that with characters who all remove buff effects and non cancelled endurance just sucks this meta is literally if you dont have these characters you lose and its atrocious and sickening

I haven't played much this year. Being f2p I've had zero luck on any summons
26:47 so I’ve been playing since 1st anniversary and I can honestly say never in my life have I been bored of a unit this much. Majin vegeta was also the reason I hit my first god rank and don’t feel proud abt it at all. The only thing that I can say was slightly fun abt majin was constantly drawing green cards out of luck and forcing so many forfeits because of it. Other than that he’s boring. He offers nothing new,just a broken ultra.
No sé de qué se quejan, cuando llegó GSS4 Ultra los free to play ya no tenían cristales y la mayoría no lo tuvieron. Era un meta en que si no tenías a GSS4 simplemente estabas muerto, y todo el que lo tenía lo llevaba.

I think the only reason you'd use Majin Vegeta is because of his oppressive presence in the meta, not because he is genuinely fun. He is not "tightly designed" or "unique", he was just created to be a roadblock and it disrupts the flow of every single match. I think this Legends Fest needs to reset this atrocious meta and make the game feel actually fun because the amount of options we are given as players is so limited that there is genuinely no point in using anything else besides 2 teams in order to even have a chance. You'd think with the character choices this year that it'd be an amazing year but it's turned into one of the worst in this game's history.

havent played much legends this season, only doing dailys, playing co-op instead of pvp, bc you cant enjoy the game with majin vegeta in every match, this is the first time since the fsk, future, and revival gohan meta where i just have no motivation to play the game

ultra rose absolutely ruined the meta, th whole meta was rock paper scissors, i had rose 10 stars and i still hated it, the constant paralysis, the green cards, the ultimates, combined with ugb, or even hero hercule
we need a character who has permanent card draw destruction protection, destroys blue cards when they get locked in and removes vanish, and is red. Also can tag and draws a strike card every time they do so, and when they fuse they get an ultimate that ignores buff removal. Pls make goku black and zamasu just like this toshi

To answer the question that goresh asked in the video I would only use UMV (if I had him) not because I would have fun but because I haven’t pulled a new unit since S17 released and I want to take revenge on everyone who has exterminated me with the new units
Edit: I also spent 60k cc on the anniversary and like 100euro and didn’t pull anything I took a break from the game for 2 months and now I open it from time to time to play some PvP.

Crazy mechanic. what if they release a character that can combine cards.
The problem for me is just these characters that have the aspect of "plays the game for you" like Ulthan, UG4, UMV, these characters after a couple of weeks just become boring and annoying to fight because you have to worry about their gauge, what their cards can do, when they draw cards or get buffs or apply debuffs... so it just become obnoxious.
I think one way they can solve the timer meta they just to make units with assault chain except it’s actually good.
These counter gauges whenever there meta (which is basically always the case) slow the game down into a unfun and boring experience.
Or simply stop making counter gauges a thing. It’s boring, it’s unfun
