I agree wholeheartedly with Andrew’s message today in almost every way, there is one passage however that Andrew doesn’t bring up in his message today and that is 1 Corinthians 3 where Paul talks about “the Day” that declares each one’s work and anything (within a person’s life) that is not built on the foundation of Christ will be burnt up, regardless of what it is. That person will suffer loss but he himself will be saved. Now I don’t know what this looks like, some people I have spoken to think that this is a worldly testing as in James 1:2,12 but I am not so sure. I tend to think that in the transformation that Paul talks about in 1 Corinthians 15:51 where we are Changed in a twinkling of an eye something happens where anything that is corrupt in our thinking is purged and becomes incorrupt, the personality is intact yet those parts that, for whatever reason, do not line up with truth or Jesus (John 14:6) are purged. In his ministry on earth Jesus tells us that to follow him means losing our lives (Luke 14:26) and that whoever seeks to save his life will lose it but that whoever loses his life will preserve it (Luke 17:33). While we are indeed saved by Christ’s finished work upon the cross and presented holy and blameless and above reproach in His sight (Col 1:22) there is so much of our beliefs, desires, ways of living etc. that may be based in some degree on wrong thinking and needs to be “lost”. For example Catholics, Protestants, Greek orthodox, etc. etc. can’t all be right and yet so many of us are entrenched in potentially wrong doctrine or ideas that dictate so much of our lives. Nothing but perfection is entering into Heaven, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. Our lives are more than just “Right and “wrongs”, we have memories that to some degree make us who we are, these memories will surely go with us to Heaven, we know and love people in this life and we will still know and love the very same people in the ages to come, our personalities are shaped by our experiences, experiences which can dictate how we think about life, some of these are good and based in love but so many of us have things in life that are not based in love and need to be removed or purged as it were. Just to clarify, I am not talking about those typical everyday “right and wrong” things we may do where our flesh temporarily overtakes our decision making, Christ has the complete victory for us. And I am not saying that there could be Christians that are not getting into heaven, all believers are assured access. I am just talking about that moment, that twinkling of an eye moment where a transformation takes place and we are changed. Everything that is not built on the foundation of Christ is purged in the allegorical fire and all that will be left is love and truth. My thinking is that if we can build our life on Christ here and now then there will be no loss in that Day because we would already have lost our life in exchange for his (Luke 17:33). Sorry for the sermon.
Of all the pastors I have listened to I have to say you Andrew have hit the nail on the head every time. You did the home work and you share that and clarify it with a pure heart. Most of all make it clear to not live in fear, though Godly fear is good and that’s just acknowledging you knowing who he is and what he can do,
The first fruits stand at the bema seat before the great tribulations The hay is burned up. And who are the saints who come back with Jesus at the start of the 1000 year that Jesus rules the world?
Dr you are amazing with the grace message. However, I seem not to be sure about lie no. 40 because of 2 reasons: 1. Jesus will come back with the church in his second advent. Are you saying he will be with the church all along until he judges them after the great white throne? 2. Thrones are set in Rev 20:4 who are those on those thrones if it's not the church? I trust you have satisfactory answers for me.
all I know, is im no good by myself, could never compare to the perfection of JESUS,,,I knew I would prob sin,,,,,so got him as Savior long ago,,,not wanting to be bad,,,,,,but knowing I make mistakes and needed him,as he is the boss,,,and whatever goes on,,,,,,he is the boss,,,,and,,,,,,far as I know, he took my sins,,,,,,,,all of them,,,,,at salvation,,,,and there are no more,,,,,but he likes me to consider love for others,,,,,that when I mess up, I try to fix it,,
"What's my motivation?" made me laugh. It sounds like what an actor says when preparing for a scene. The Greek word that applied to actors was...hypocrite.
Revelation 20:4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. They will reign with Christ a thousand years. 🤔🤔🤔 Who will they be reigning over? Who will be the subjects of the millennial kingdom for 1000 years. I have always thought that the sheep will enter the millennial kingdom as the subjects. Some of their descendants will be those who go against Christ at the end of the 1000 years. Just wonder if believers are the sheep and unbelievers are the goats, then who will be the subjects as the goats can’t enter the kingdom?
He uses silly language and a silly tone of voice, but I guess the main reason I criticize him is that I disagree with a lot that he says. I should not do that. I know his explanation of salvation is correct, which is the most important thing. But I truly feel he is wrong about a lot of other stuff.
Awesome message. I am relaxing in His perfect love🥰 Thank you Dr. Andrew for making it so clear 👍

Ever since I came out of Calvinism I always believed in the two judgements...But this doctrine makes more sense...Thank you Andrew
Praise the Lord.
Amazing clarity.
What a beautiful message brother. Thank you

Hey from Memphis.
"What's my motivation?" made me laugh. It sounds like what an actor says when preparing for a scene. The Greek word that applied to actors was...hypocrite.

We are the body of Christ not new Jerusalem
You talk to your audience like they are in kindergarten.
No he doesn't.
I would rather hear the "truth," spoken to me as though I'm in kindergarten, than "error," spoken in perfect eloquence!

@@pdenise814 Hi Denise, Did He say anything wrong in this video? If so, what?
Our faith should be child like.
