Most people who aren't aware of the changes over the last decade, or so, and still associate it with "poppy", "cutesy" tunes with large groups of girl singers. In truth, it covers just as wide a genre range as any other country's music - from metal to jazz to rock to pop to rap, with different interpretations of each - often in the same song 👍😎.

I think bc of the BLACKPINK’s heavy influence on their concept, many like them and I agree. I love how they are really diverse, ofc there are parts in their outfits or copyrights that can be problematic but I really love how they are able to show off the influence they got.

I agreed that most of the other k-pop groups are cute and kitty stuffs and I remember back then I don't paying attention to them but this group is different. This group is not just cute, but has swag and confident and that makes them stand out, not just K-pop but I think the entire world compare to other artists.
