Bone thieves are actually extremely friendly to humans. They basically eat the human, break the old bones inside the human, then replace them with new bones, thus giving said human a new skeleton. After that, the bone thief regurgitates the human and the old bones are its meal.

It looks like the closest thing to an escape from the backrooms. I would have ran as fast as possible back down the tracks. Maybe a glitch where some abandoned mine in the middle of nowhere intersects with the backrooms.
This reminds me a little too much of a mine ride I went on at Knott's Berry Farm in 1988; I was a few days shy of eight years old, and it TERRIFIED me.

The scary and most unexpected part is where the cameraman gets eaten, execot for the guy who was shown in th middle fi the video. Mostly it's the fameraman who survives every risk of their life but now, i guess its opisite day.
