I can't believe I can still recite this word for word and it's been over 30 years since I use to watch it constantly, makes me get all choked up seeing it again
Same, I just found this and it brought back SO many memories I must have watched this a thousand times as a kid. When it came on I instantly started reciting it 😂
Aside from clearly being Gothic, Grave Digger's portion of the video was one of the most low-key Metal parts of the video, and I remember always fast-forwarding the video on VCR as a kid just to get to that part. Still gives me goosebumps. Grave Digger/Anderson's careless rebellious racing style on the track and dark aesthetics on the truck was my early exposure to anything related to the macabre and darkly-inclined and really planted the seeds for me as a child for what I would be interested in for years to come and who I would be as an individual in the future.
Man Tuff Trax really shouldve lasted longer. Im only 22 but my older brother and I used to have a couple tapes from the 1990 season. Those Micro Machine commercials made my heart happy. Edited: That Grave Digger montage was SUPER sick with the music!!!!!! Reasons why he's my all time favorite 🔥🔥🔥
I have been looking for this video for sooooo long!! I had this on VHS when I was a kid and it was my favorite thing to watch. Never could remember the name of it but somehow I finally found it!! Thank you so very much for posting this!
8:37 This is KING KRUNCH; The Computerized Giant. One of the most familiar names in the history of monster trucks, KING KRUNCH is now high-tech. Scott Stephens rigged the blue GMC from Texas with computers and gadgets in his desperate quest to win the World Championship. And along the way, he strives to knock off BIGFOOT
FELD needs to learn from the past and bring this racing style back because the current racing style effing sucks balls. I love the Grave Digger profile at the 25:05 mark and I have been a fan of monster trucks ever since then. #MakeMonsterTruckRacingGreatAgain #RIPTNTMotorsports
Are you referring to Alan Tura's Goliath & Dabney's Duraliner Giant?... Btw I recognize you avatar, you used to be my favorite channel like five or six years ago, it'd be awesome if you put out some more treasure!
@@MisterGravelrama Footage of both trucks. I hope to get more footage soon, and I will be reposting some races that I've posted in the past, now as single parts rather than split into multiple videos.
1:24 First up, is USA-1: The Dangerous Daredevil. Here’s a salute, to America’s truck. Steve Wilke now pilots the death-defying Chevrolet from Minnesota. When USA-1 races, the walls come tumbling down! Or the truck goes tumbling end over end. Owner Everett Jasmer and driver Rod Litzau, built USA-1’s reputation in 1988. That’s when America’s truck captured the first ever world championship on the TNT Monster Truck Challenge. The victim was Bigfoot; former King of the monster trucks.
Lol n todays drivers think they have a hard time controlling the trucks of today. Look at these on work the steering wheel truing to control their trucks crack then lol

I wore this tape out when I was a young kid. I watched it twice a day for what seems forever. Talk about bringing back memories

The funny thing in the Tuff Trax toy commercial is that there is USHRA footage.

I use to borrow my cousin VHS of this all the time
Crazy how Bigfoot probably demanded too much for licensing. Little did we know of what was to come in Monster Jam
Anyone know where to find the Tuff Trax theme song? I'm assuming it's a production them from somewhere
These fonts that CBS Sports have used from 1986-1992!!!
Much better than the so called mister trucks today that don't even look like a truck
Monster truck,s Of 1980s and 1990s monster truck,s are still in 2023
That announcer at the beginning sounds like Bob Menery
