Mega Man’s childish playful personality in the Marvel vs Capcom series will always be superior to his stiff unironically robotic characterization in the Super Smash Bros series

@@marcelovicente7589 Probably because MvC was made around the same time as Mega Man 8, which portrays him as more expressive than he had been in his previous games, since the technology allowed for clearer voice acting and FMV cutscenes. Plus, this version of Mega Man was shown to be slimmer.
In Super Smash Bros., they're basing him mostly off of his 8-Bit design. Many of his attacks, movements, and even how he stands still are much more stiff and expressionless, which is reflective of his earlier days. He is also portrayed as being shorter and with body proportions that emphasize his youth in the super-deformed art style as opposed to the more realistic proportions seen in MM8.
So basically, MvC was using the most modern depiction of Mega Man for its time, whereas Smash Bros. was using a throwback to the NES era of Mega Man games.

@@MegaManXPoweredUp besides, the mvc MegaMan has real voice and he his movements look cooler in MVC than in SSBUltimate. And, I don't think that MegaMan looks too thin, despite not having very muscular arms, his forearms look pretty beefy for punches.

Amazing as ever... if platformers and action adventures game can never touches Shadowserg's no damage run character, and so fighting games like this as well! Im so amazed with this no damage run on fighting games.

Never knew how to use this Magnetic Shockwave
It was only usable in the home console version. After completing the game with Mega Man, you could use it as a hyper attack using quarter circle back + 2 punches. It would remain available until you shut off the console.
Edit: You had to hold the Select button as you chose Mega Man.
