I have no idea why some people associate the image of Mother Chamunda with something negative. She is a Divine Mother and has the expression on her face like a mother who rushes to defend her child. For Her we are all her children. Of course that She has the expression on Her face that is supposed to scare demons and all evil. I feel only love for Her. When I hear this mantra, I can't stop. I am in a sort of trance state. I have the same with Mahakali Mantra, Bhairavi Jaap and Chinna Masta Jaap. There is something amazing, engaging and empowering about the powerful forms of our Goddesses.
