So my wife does a childdaycare here in Germany. One of the moms of her daycare-children was 19 years old droped out of school in the last year, she managed one of the brothels her parents own. She was the best organized parent of all the parents my wife had contact with, because of her daycare-children. Or the one time she went shopping with my wife and she told stories about every 5 minutes about a guy she identified as one of her businesses clients from her or from another of her parents brothels. Also she was realy tough on Money, sold every open bill to a turkish bodybuilder to collect it. Many years ago, I was in Hongkong with a couple of friends. We went to the bars in Kowloon and had a couple of beers and every time there suddenly was a girl who drank "whisky" and wanted us to pay for it. We went along for a while but after about three bars, we were tired of it and just wanted to drink beer and take it easy. In the street, I saw a bunch of young police officers and I figured they could recommend a place. So, I asked them if they knew a bar without girls. The police looked at me, slightly puzzled. "No girls?" "No girls, I replied?" He looked at me again and asked: "Boys?" 🙂
Generally, in California, when a spring is named after someone, it's because they were the first one in their language community to find it, or they owned it, or they died near it / drowned in it.
I once lived in a place called Anji, in Zhejiang Province. All brothels there were controlled by the police and brothels had to pay them 20% protection money, or else they had to shut shop. The whole culture of the CCP revolves around frequent brothel visits. That's how decent and upright people joining the CCP get "broken in" which make them open to blackmail. Thus they become easier to control to carry out "dirty deeds" they normally wouldn't do.
I've lived in Asia for over half my life, and been with Asian women even longer. Things I have learned - prostitution is way more prevalent than anyone will ever truly discuss. There is everything from street walkers to very high end call girls. If I go into a bar alone it's pretty much guaranteed I will have at least one one offer before I finish my second drink. I have been woken up in the middle of the night by pimps with a few girls in tow when staying in hotels by myself. I have had offers from the hotel cleaning staff, the beer girls, etc. Nothing in Asia surprises me any more. These are countries that if you know how or where to look you can 100% get what you want - IF you have cash.
Wow. Just sounds like such an easy way to get an STD. How do the guys who indulge in Chinese society explain their visits to the doctor? Edit: Make it a series. It's always fascinating to learn about other cultures, even if the story is horrifying, such as the father of your 10 year old student speaking about having sex with girls just a little older than she was. It's what's "normal" in their culture. I especially liked the story about the friends your wife or girlfriend introduced you to, asking you to go out with them. How weird is that? My goodness!
I feel left out. I never got the cards under my doors. But I was always too scared of this stuff when I was living there. I always thought it was some kind of sting operation for catching foreigners hahaha. Sure I'll call the number on this poster for in home service and wait for the police to show up. Lol. The police did actually come through and raid a massage shop I was at behind my apartment in Shanghai. I was so happy I was too nervous to partake in those endeavors. God knows what happened to the guy they hauled off.
There's a unspoken rule amongst man here in the west and that is that you don't go have sex around your friends if they can't have fun too, so out of respect, you don't do that, you go some where for every one to have fun.
My wife, Chinese expat, in Vancouver. Spent some time, doing therapy work. With a middle aged, Chinese lady. Who came from a poor family. She went to the local city, to find regular work. It didn’t turn out well for her. She was bought and sold, to various owners, for being a young virgin. Not her fault at all, but she lives with a lot of pain, and shame.
I must say it so nice so see your format of videos/talk show, but on a different scale - the US. The roads are different, cars too, the landscape...how about you continue the series with different topics, but in US? You know, minorities, history, etc. For me as a european, it would be really nice
I had project in that area. I usually drove a lot on Hot Spring Lady road. It is very long 100 miles desert road. Most people who live in that area are stright from the TV show ' Son of the. Anarchy'. But not far from there has best and fantastic national park.
These guys are spot on. My family moved to China when I was 12. And because I have 3 brothers all close to me in age I knew all about this stuff. By the whole thing about it being completely illegal while also being so prevalent is just a part of the facade of China that clean cut image they present to the world Is why they consider it illegal without prosecution.
Well, yes and no. The fact of the matter is that this is a prevalent thing in many Asian countries. And ask any Asian woman if she thinks it's cheating and she'll say damn straight yes! However she might end up staying with the guy anyway for various reasons, may it be financial, face-saving or whatever. After all it was "just a prostitute" and "no feelings involved". But it's a toxic relationship from there on no doubt. And she'll be extremly suspicious and jealous whenever the guy wants to 'hang out with his friends'. For all the right reasons as explained in this video. To each their own but, yeah.. For me personally this is a sad part of reality or "the culture" if one wants to call it that.
There was a video about cheating in Japan as well. Basically, a large amount of men (and some women) thought that if the action is done without "love" then it isn't cheating and is purely a physical thing. Ofc about 50%-60% of the interviewed in the video did say it was cheating, but that historically going into a red light district was pretty standard for men in Japan. Being faithful is almost completely a western/christian thing. Because in Christianity you can only have a single partner and within the religion the men and women are pretty much equal and that it's a sin. I think in Asia it was like this that based on who married down in terms of status (Family status) then to appease the family the men might've needed to stay faithful, while if the family status was equal or the man's status was higher than the woman's status, then it would've been socially OK to openly cheat on the woman. Due to western influence, and overall gender dynamics, the women have started to value themselves more (In China as well), so now in equal marriages, women have started to assert themselves (like they beat up their man if he was caught cheating on her, which Serpentza did a video about).. So a new culture sprung out so that men cheat on their wives together as a show of trust.
@@danl3960 Not necessarily true. I've seen surveys where a lot of people in Asian countries don't think of prostitution as cheating because of the lack of an emotional connection. The survey I saw was from Japan, but I'm sure it's similar in other places...
You really should have turned south on Quail Springs road and gone through Joshua Tree National Park on Pinto Basin road. Joshua Tree National Park is a lot better than Johnson Valley.
You guys have to go to Kentucky. The rolling green hills, lined with white or black plank fences, and when the fields have been mowed whether winnowed piles spanning the length of the property, or already bailed in huge rolls dotting the landscape, some with horses on the property, it is at any time a spectacular sight, but particularly at sunset. Also the horse barns are incredible, they are huge and beautiful, I have never been inside one, but I suspect they are high tech not something you see on Little House On The Prairie. When I lived there I often thought the horses likely live far better than half of the American population. Maybe you would be so bold as to stop at one and ask for a tour, more likely your chances in Kentucky than China running into people who are gald to oblige. Versailles Road is the road you must see, between Frankfort and Lexington Ky. There, if you ask someone for directions, if you pronounce Versailles properly, no one will know what you are saying! It's hilarious and horrible! I had to work very hard to say it the way they pronounce it, heavy emphasis on the first Concenent Ver- sounds like fur only with a v. Sails or sales with a huge emphasis on the ā, it really was a bit painful for me to submit to the local pronunciation. I suggest you do ask, even if you don't actually need directions.
Import the two tracks side by side, and you only need one bit of audio to match up. I will just clap when I have multiple audio sources, and use that spike to line up the two videos.
Welcome to the Mojave Desert. You're almost in my backyard. And you're correct about the desert attracting tweakers. Old Woman Spring Road is awesome when the desert flowers bloom. It's like heaven on earth.
Difference between cultures is their values, not their language. In Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) in the 1950s & 60s the custom of the local people at night was to stand at a distance and shout to eachother so that anyone in the area would know they're not plotting anything underhanded, but it use to annoy the hell out of the whites who didn't understand their culture.
The first time I went to Shanghai I was approached by a prostitute who offered me her services. In broad light, in a busy street, while I was walking. Not in a red light district, but in a nice, commercial and touristy district, full of families. I can't imagine how things could be in the red districts then.
You guys want to ride through some really scenic desert, take ride through southern Utah. Moab, Zion, Bryce Canyon and Capital Reef National Parks are all gorgeous.

The part of your brain that responds to nerves in the feet are right next to the part of the brain that receives signals from your genitals, that's why foot massage is so satisfying, and basically rubbing one sweaty stinky thing is no different than rubbing the other and homeboy used to get a foot massage every other day, daaaaamn.
Need to learn how to ride with strong cross winds out here in the Mojave. There's a simple trick to compensate. Pushing the bike against the wind will just make you tired. Learn to pull opposite. If the wind is pushing you to the right for example, pull back slightly (you'll learn real fast how much) on the right grip and the bike will tend left. Pulling on the left will make the bike tend right. It's opposite of natural but learn to do it and cross winds will never bother you again. In fact, learning to pull opposite all the time will bump your riding skills up to the next level. It's totally counter intuitive but believe me and take a chance. Manipulating the geometry of the bike will allow you effortless control over the physics of the moving and rotating masses you're riding on.

I was on a date with a with a girl. We were walking & talking together I was facing her while we were at a street corner waiting for the walk light to come on the stop light. All the sudden these 2 random women walk up to me, grab me by the arm and say "Massagey massagey?" I had been in Tokyo long enough to know that it wasn't a real massage. I was just blown away by how bold they were to walk up and ask me while I was with a woman. Just shook my head, waved the pair off and walked away.
Man thanks guys i was laughing the whole episode yup all of it sound shocking to me & kinda fun really, anyway the view is breath taking you guys should film more in the US it's Huge and diverse
I think a simple way to avoid prostitution when getting a message is just to go to a blind masseuse (which is everywhere) That is what I usually do when in China.
@@ItsTimePictures I don't think any of these places are actually certified masseuses. I think the concept is that it relaxes you more than any thing therapeutic. Just make sure to keep insisting g they go easy, because otherwise, their default mode does hurt quite a bit.

I used to go downstairs to a foot massage.. 28 yuan an hour.. I liked it because it was all glass front open to see... and it was good and professional.. no hanky panky.. Down in the center was a TCM blind massage place. 2 hours for 180 yuan .. really worked your muscles in TuiNa.. I was in China for nearly a decade.. and now left two years.. I miss my trips to foot massage and my trips to TCM TuiNa.. I do know also what you are talking about as most of the expats I knew were into the late night “massages” after the bars closed, but they always had back aches from excessive draining of kidney energy.. Cops owed or had family involved in owning many of the late night massage places.

You guys should ride highway 49 from oakhurst all the way up and over. It’s a two day ride but amazing. Do it in spring so it’s green and the creeks are going. These are countries that if you know how or where to look you can 100% get what you want - IF you have cash.
Sounds like fun
In a country of a few billion people I'm pretty sure it isn't hard to find a sex worker
I mean the doctor is most likely also a guy and more than likely also visits these places. So the doc wouldnt say a word to your wife.
Wind noise no issue, cool chat this 1 🍻
First time watching in 4K. Didn't realise you guys were even producing in 4K. Looks great for this format. Drone shots are incredible too.
Aw i absolutely love the story telling whilst driving - this one was particularly beautiful! It compensates for the shock and horror!
They get hauled off and then cornholed in the drunktank by those cops.
@@jamegumb7298 lol rough evening
me too, it is also really weird for someone who doesn't grow up with it, in my country prostitutes are only for drug addicts lol
ya, they could/can honey-pot the wealthy foreigners!
There's a unspoken rule amongst man here in the west and that is that you don't go have sex around your friends if they can't have fun too, so out of respect, you don't do that, you go some where for every one to have fun.
That road would be a totally different experience at night
13:20 "I've lost my to prostitutes" That literally cracked me up😹
Shocked? Hell no. Enjoyed the banter. Work this topic for a while. Very Enlightening
They say: "Even California is better than China." 😆😅🤣😂
@Boban Milisavljevic well then go to Chicago
@Boban Milisavljevic not the Chicago I know-how
I must say it so nice so see your format of videos/talk show, but on a different scale - the US.
Probably a cultural difference? in that chinese don't think going to a prostitute is cheating
The guys don’t think so.... but the girls definitely do!! They are crazy jealous.
@@danl3960 Not necessarily true. I've seen surveys where a lot of people in Asian countries don't think of prostitution as cheating because of the lack of an emotional connection. The survey I saw was from Japan, but I'm sure it's similar in other places...
You could not be more wrong. Ask a Chinese man to tell his wife where he is going. Will he? F no!
You really should have turned south on Quail Springs road and gone through Joshua Tree National Park on Pinto Basin road. Joshua Tree National Park is a lot better than Johnson Valley.
Beautiful road 👍

What communication equipment are you using in the bikes, sounds great.
Curious question: HOW DO YOU SYNC THE AUDIO between two riders while recording video?
He was revving the engine from time to time to sync the sound
Import the two tracks side by side, and you only need one bit of audio to match up. I will just clap when I have multiple audio sources, and use that spike to line up the two videos.
@@jaysen472 IC, thanks! I thought you have some gizmo that synchronizes recording across multiple recording devices!!!
Using timecode such as with a Zoom F2-BT (or a Tentacle Track E) makes it all very easy and hassle free to do the syncing.
Loving the stories, guys. I feel sorry for the girls/women that are forced into that line of work also. Like that’s their only choice 😔 I think this is the first time I have seen you guys out on he open road with no traffic? No wonder you sound so happy lol
Would love to hear more awkward stories! Yes, please do a series!
Thanks to you guys, i see through the bull^$it now. Great video, take care.
LMFAO!
"I'm not a woman. It feels bad!"
BIG mood. My wife tried to do that once and I hated it. Now she does it just to tease me. STOP that shit.

I lived in California, now back in wonderful Tennessee, its not just desert towns, you find tweekers everywhere, big cities small towns.
I'm in TN and in a small county and yes the meth is bad. And fentanyl

In communist china habbits are so similar to est european communism 30 years ago. Except eating weird animals, is so similar.
I got married in Baotou, apparently i was one of the first English men to as it took the police 5 months to get the correct paper work
The part of your brain that responds to nerves in the feet are right next to the part of the brain that receives signals from your genitals, that's why foot massage is so satisfying, and basically rubbing one sweaty stinky thing is no different than rubbing the other and homeboy used to get a foot massage every other day, daaaaamn.
Manipulating the geometry of the bike will allow you effortless control over the physics of the moving and rotating masses
you're riding on.
If you guys ever get the chance you should travel to Chicago! I was there recently for 4 days and I had some of the best food in the U.S that i've ever had! Just stay in North and East Chicago and you'll be safe! its a very clean city as well and feels very safe!
As a British guy who’s been to Chicago multiple times, I approve this statement.
East Chicago is the lake
Better bring your scuba gear

We have leather people in Florida too. Just watch Something About Mary 😂
My first trip to Honolulu I was expecting to see young, curvy beach babes on Waikiki. Wrong!!!! Mostly old geezers like 85-90 years old who looked liked they spent their whole life in the sun. Seriously it looked like a giant California Raisin commercial everywhere you looked. Imagine a 90 year old raisin walking on burnt toothpicks for legs and loose skin jiggling on their waist and chests/stomachs. What a bummer!

Here's my prostitution story from Tokyo Japan.
Love that tazzing through the desert on those smooth undulating roads

Heck yea. Would like to see this as a series
Hey, that was a fun one. Thx. Nice scenery.
amazing scenery and stories, boys! awesome! :) looks like somewhere in Qinghai. too bad you never got a chance to visit there. Ride safely!
I think a simple way to avoid prostitution when getting a message is just to go to a blind masseuse (which is everywhere) That is what I usually do when in China.
They did. I believe they got massages from a blind massage therapist in their "Conquering Northern China" documentary.
My experience with them was terrible. All they do is hurt your back. No technique. Just basically smash you.
they never see it cummin
@@ItsTimePictures I don't think any of these places are actually certified masseuses. I think the concept is that it relaxes you more than any thing therapeutic. Just make sure to keep insisting g they go easy, because otherwise, their default mode does hurt quite a bit.
the added benefit is they might find you more attractive if they are blind!
I feel you both. It grosses me out, as a female how men Actually Think that touching and squeezing our nipples is nice, NO!!! US FEMALES HATE NIPPLE PLAY AS WELL. As opposed to Europe, it's cool to see cracks in the road patched up instead of the whole road upped and replaced.
You both should visit ( and drive ) the tail of the dragon in tennessee if you havent yet.
