I actually got a facial fat transfer from Dr. Green. Early 30s. It wasn’t expensive. Zero recovery time, huge difference. He’s truly very great at what he does
@@Bexiboo. fat cells stay they just shrink. You can suffer from fat necrosis but this is usually due to heat exposure etc. You have a certain number of fat cells, and when the body can no longer fit enough fat in them it creates more. That's why liposuction completely changes the way people gain weight becaus3 you have redistributed lots of fat cells to where they wouldn't be before. Like fat transfer to breast. A good thing to know prior to pregnancies etc. Because those extra fat cells that you gain can of course shrink. But they don't go away.
I really like this doctor and I checked his facelifts and love his beautiful natural work. The lip lift is a trend and I have two friends who ended up with disasters from Dr. Kao in Los Angeles. The scar tissue is horrible, so I loved what he said about that. Fat is a whole other story as I ended up having a fat face that I hated for a few years. It is hard to gauge how much to use as it can dissipate so quickly or not. For all of you telling Kim to wait, I think is better to start younger because if you wait too long you won't get as good of a result usually. I have had a few facelifts and continue to have work done over time. The doctor that you pick is so important! Not to be rude but I just wonder if all of these fillers, threads, peels, etc. really did that much? I support you KIm, and thank you for sharing🥰
wow. what a detailed and honest consultation! thank you for sharing it with us. since I learned from you how to use Tox myself on your old channel, I have really immersed myself in the anti-aging topic. I paralyze the platysma with Tox (nerfertiti lift) which already helps a lot against jowls and those neck bands. I also really like watching the clips from China or Korea, just to see what options there are. I also think that a lip lift is beneficial for women over 45. people often think that fuller lips make the face look younger and cuter, but actually it is the philtrum that is too long that makes you look old. I am also concerned about the scar, but it also has a lot to do with the suture technique. just like with the bleph, a subcutaneous suture leaves less of a scar. but not every doctor sutures like that. so maybe you should just find a different doctor for this procedure. Here in Germany I have only found one doctor who does great lip lift sutures. Kisses from Germany Miri 😘
So nice to see a dr in my area that would actually do a facelift on someone young. I’ve been told by 2 drs in the Bay Area no. I’m 48, my profile pic is old…just throwing that out there. I do believe the DIY has been helpful in my FIGHT AGAINST AGING lol. Anyway Kim u still look really good. I know how you feel though. I was told I look like some of the “after” results of patients but I’m thinking whatever lady 🙄 I was probably having a good day 😂 I think mid fourties’ and beyond are hard to deal with. It seems like one day I look ok the next old and haggard.
Hi Kim, I am so glad you saw your local plastic surgeon that you have a relationship and history with. Conservative approach is always the best. I am happy he talks with you about fat transfer from your arms. I had a mid face lift, brow lift upper & lower eyes. Happy to share any info with you. YOU can find me in YOUR app. Susan ! ❤🙌🏻🙏🏻😘
This is my fav video you have ever done. You should do a PDF on all the well thought out questions you asked for others to take with them to their doctor's consultation. He was so thorough! I am 56 but have no wrinkles yet and only the smile lines and marionette lines from the way I sleep on one side. So all the items you asked about were SO INFORMATIVE to know. A deep plain facelift runs about $100k so $42k and getting a more permanent affect sounds AWESOME SAUCE. I don't go under well and was awake for my lipo on my tummy. I would want to be awake too. I saw someone getting this mid facelift and he was asking her did she like like the tension at two different tightenesses while he was pulling on it, letting her decide the final look. So, maybe be awake so you can dial it in how you want. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this video & you!!!!
I had a brow lift and lip lift almost 1 year ago. Think very carefully about a lip lift. I gad a modified lip lift I had both the gull wing cut along the nose and incisions on the corners if my lip to show more lip tissue. The scars will never go way without laser treatments. You get flaring of the nostrils but it does subside. I will be having a revision the next time i have a procedure during a lower facelift in a few years. Just be careful you will never look the same and it can be off putting and takes a while to get used to. Looking forward to watching your journey
Kim, great information! Go for it! I did a deep plane at 50 due to lower face laxity and loose neck skin. I’m sooo happy I didn’t chicken out. You may also want to get a consult from Utah Facial Plastics Dr. Scott Thompson in Draper Utah (double board certified facial plastic surgeon) he only does facial plastic surgery and he approaches his work conservatively and I cannot see any scars which was my BIGGEST concern. I have no regrets at all! Yes you are beautiful but if sagging skin bothers you, my opinion is take care of it now and enjoy the results!❤❤❤
Outstanding Video! 👍 Thank you so much! Two questions: Did he say that a Deep Plane FLift just pulls back the skin verses a SMAS FLift repositions the muscles of the face???!!!! Please can you clarify! Because millions of us thought both were essentially the same. 2nd question- so if you want to lift your middle face- cheek area, you have to do a midline facelift which leaves scars going up above the ears towards the forehead…. And they’re hidden into the hairline? But as we age that hairline recedes so the scars will become visible ? Your Doctor is so knowledgeable and helpful! You don’t need a facelift!!! We would ALL like to be tightened up like saran wrap 😂…. But I think you really only get one shot at a facelift….. second facelift look horrible! So if you can be patient and wait, I would!
Oh my breast surgery scars are very different from one another. I’ll be joining you on this journey in a few years. I want to wait to get the most out of it. I’m going to definitely sag more and I don’t want to do it too early and need it again in 6-10 years. You look fantastic and we are our own worst critics so you see something different than I see on you❤ thank you for this! Great insight 😻🥰
Isn’t that crazy how we can scar differently from side to side! And I’m not sure when I will do my face I just wanted insight for the future and I thought I would share 😘
before doing a facelift stop energy devices under more than 0.5mm like HIFU and co. under your skin, it makes the work for the surgeon more difficult due to scaring and skin layers less distinctable.
Exactly, high energy heating devices glue down scar tissue onto the SMAS making a surgeon's job 100 times more difficult, and the outcome of the facelift is often not ideal.
I get that you’re comfortable with this surgeon and had a great experience with your previous surgery but at least get a consultation from a facial plastic surgeon as well. All the research I’ve been doing is very clear that you don’t want a plastic surgeon who doesn’t do facial surgery exclusively operating on your face. From his website it looks like Dr. Green specializes in post weight loss surgery and doesn’t have any extra education or fellowship training in facial surgery. I thought the patient he showed a before and after of looked pulled too tight and overdone!😮 I did really appreciate you taking us on your consultation and Dr. Green’s openness and willingness to share his advice and prices on camera. Best of luck!
I agree that it’s better to get a facial plastic surgeon who does faces 1 million times a week! Instead of a jack of all trades… But I did like the women’s facelift. You have to bear in mind that sometimes some people don’t want to spend 30,000 to 40,000 for just a well rested look. They want the jaws gone. They want a tight neck. They want lifted cheeks and lifted eyes. And there’s nothing wrong with that!
💯 I thought she looked pulled too tight too! This surgeon is more of a body plastic surgeon. Kim needs multiple in person consultations with facial plastic surgeon’s before making any decisions.
I think you are right to do it, of course from a general point of view we can say no you don't need it, but from your point of view, I think you have to do it, besides this facelift and the blepharoplasty plus the fat grafting which beyond plumping the epidermis, it has a real regenerating work on the dermis and all the rejuvenating functions of the skin, as you are still young with skin in excellent condition, the results will be fabulous and last a very long time. No one has the right to judge you or decide for you. Everyone is free to have their body and to have cosmetic surgery or not, it is a personal choice.👌
Thank you! I can’t afford it either yet 😂 but now I have a better idea on what makes sense for my face and what procedures are worth it versus what scars to avoid
Kim I went to Mexico City and got the exact same thing you got a quote for and I paid $5400/$5600, I am so happy with the results. I’m floored at the price. 42000.00 seems overpriced. Of course you’re in California and things are super expensive there. I’m considering some facial work and have had some in the past and never came close to that number. I’m in Florida and haven’t started my search yet so we’ll see how close the quotes come in to that number. I did see a surgeon about a year ago but would not assess my need for a mid facelift or upper /lower bleph until all neurotoxin and filler were completely worn off. I did go without any filler or tox but ended up not pursuing it. I went yesterday for my follow up following my second set of transplants and was considering a third. I thought being that this was my third time he’d have a bit of a discount but I was quoted 5250.00 same as the other two. It was kind of painful so I’m giving it a lot of thought. One more time would give me the fullness that would make me happy. The results take quite some time to manifest but have been so worth it. The two weeks it takes waiting for the transplants to stabilize and become integrated feels like forever. Patience really is virtue.
I’m in the UK and just got quoted £12000 for neck and mid face lift £10,395 Blephs upper or together 20% off £3,685. I nearly fell over hearing her quote.
Yes I agree, but everything in California is super expensive . I’m curious to see what I’ll be quoted here in Florida. The difference in price from doctor to doctor here can be wildly different. The problem will be finding the right doctor which can also be difficult.
Kim, have you given up on the idea of going to Turkey for a facelift? Also, do you think that you have lost too much fat to where Sculptra would not be of much help now?
I would love to see her use one of the amazing Turkish surgeons. May clinic give truly amazing results. And I wonder what the cost would be. They aren't as transparent due to changes in the currency etc. But would be nice to know the ball park
I think you look great (no judgement just an observation) and don't need a face lift but I also understand that you may not feel the same and I respect that. No judgement from me. I am curious as to what Jason thinks?
I just wanted to start understanding the options and what he thought. I’m not ready now and I’m not sure what I’ll do in the future but I’ll keep everyone posted 😘
Im dying for you to get a phenol peel if you decide to get a facelift. The results are truly surprising. Enough collagen that it can look like a facelift.
before doing a facelift stop putting PLLA PCL under your skin, it makes the work for the surgeon more difficult due to scaring and skin layers less distinctable. you should tell him about your addiction what you are doing extremely to your skin since years because it is part of why your skin is not so good as it should be. addicted extreme behavior and stress has a lot to do ozempic has minor role.
Absolutely, repeated devices, injections, and other treatments can actually have a counter affect such as inflammation, scar constrictions, and volume loss. It's important to inform a surgeon of everything that has ever been used before they are surprised by what they see underneath.
Oh by the way you really don’t need all that work I would do the eyes and some fat transfers but that’s it for now 😅 you look beautiful and don’t need to do much to yourself in my opinion 💌🕊️
Kim you can go to Turkey to an amazing doctor for about a quarter of the cost this doctor I know is one of the worlds best and I would hope to see him as well I do know some women who have gone and many doctors from around the world who go to him for further education and he has many books he has written trust me you would want to save your money and go to him let me know if you want more information on him!!
I heard from another plastic surgeon here in TH-cam that a deep plane facelift results last longer than a mid face one. What are your thoughts on this?
My video actually explained why a mid-facelift is better since it gets anchored. I guess you didn’t watch
18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1
@@SpaandTellI did watch your video to the end. My comment was about another plastic surgeon remarks on deep plane versus mid-facelift and how they differ from what this doctor said. I don’t know the answer and I am interested in getting a facelift. I always find doctors providing different information. I was just asking your thoughts since you are knowledgeable and experienced in this area. That’s why I watch your videos.
Yeah, I’m confused too on the deep plane versus SMAS …. AFTER watching your video! It’s contradictory to what a lot of other surgeons say that prefer deep plane! Help!!!
I actually had a plastic surgeon tell me to just gain 10 lbs instead of getting temple filler. I guess that’s why they say that after a certain age, you have to choose between your body or your face. 😂
@ I think that’s a bit early for a face lift. You’re very youthful. Maybe wait until you’re 50? Keep posting though - that was really interesting. Thank you.
Thank you. I made this because I was interested in his opinion and I wanted to give many who follow insight since people are curious and I wanted to feel comfortable
Sigh. Your doctor has no idea how technically skilled and advanced the p.s surgeons are in china. All my friends who went to shanghai to do their noses and eyes as well as smas FL all look so youthful and rejuvenated.
I wish I lived there I would go get it doen in heartbeat. Where I am living only 1 plastic surgeon and he said I look too young for those procedures even though I'm 40 years old.
Absolutely, surgeons are now understanding what is happening subdermally with the injections and the high energy device treatments, all of which can cause inflammation and scar tissue, making their job 100 times more difficult. I've even seen graphic videos of the dermis glued down to muscle from heating devices, which they have to try to separate like tissue paper. The good surgeons have been speaking out about this for a while. They ideally want patients who have not experimented with alot of injections and devices, and are trying to warn patients to stop doing it them if they're planning for a facelift in the future.
You definitely don’t need a facelift! ❤
Update: This turned out to be an excellent resource!! Thank you Kim!

Hi! Where did you get it done and can you share the price? Thanks
@@loveswintertrees do they last? I hear that fat transfers don't last ,
@Bexiboo. Fat transfer lasts forever, not all the fat takes and gets it's own blood supply. But the fat that does, does last.
@ads13924 until you lose weight.? Fat doesn't stay forever surely, if it did we wouldnt lose it in the first place. Please advise

Dr explaining it was really great, thank you
You are welcome
Thanks for this information. I was wondering about that deep plane facelift, I agree there are some doctors charging insane amounts for that lift.
I totally agree! Thank you very much for your comment 😘

Yes! Thank you!

42,000 is not bad. I want to see him for consult and have it done before I turn 60yo.
Oh by the way you really don’t need all that work I would do the eyes and some fat transfers but that’s it for now 😅 you look beautiful and don’t need to do much to yourself in my opinion 💌🕊️
Thank you. I agree the eyes tight up and fat volume added would be great
Kim you can go to Turkey to an amazing doctor for about a quarter of the cost this doctor I know is one of the worlds best and I would hope to see him as well I do know some women who have gone and many doctors from around the world who go to him for further education and he has many books he has written trust me you would want to save your money and go to him let me know if you want more information on him!!
Could you please share his name I had a consult with a turkey surgeon via Skype
Yes Goldenbear share with me please because I love recommendations
No! You do not need it at your age.
Thank you 😘
Yesssssssss
I heard from another plastic surgeon here in TH-cam that a deep plane facelift results last longer than a mid face one. What are your thoughts on this?
My video actually explained why a mid-facelift is better since it gets anchored. I guess you didn’t watch
Help!!!
Just a heads up…The twinkly sound effect is significantly louder than the quiet audio of you guys talking. It’s a bit startling.
I think you just need a bit more fat in your face. Don't be too critical of yourself, your face looks good as it is.
I agree with you the face fat transfer could be great
@@SpaandTellif you keep doing radio frequency you're going to just melt that fat off too.
I actually had a plastic surgeon tell me to just gain 10 lbs instead of getting temple filler. I guess that’s why they say that after a certain age, you have to choose between your body or your face. 😂
Can't wait to "chit chat" with you! I want to share something with you thanks
You look great! How old are you?
❤
Oh thank you. I’m 42 years old:)
@ I think that’s a bit early for a face lift. You’re very youthful. Maybe wait until you’re 50? Keep posting though - that was really interesting. Thank you.
Kim you look so young...why?
Just getting ideas 😘
You don’t need a facelift !!!
Thank you. I made this because I was interested in his opinion and I wanted to give many who follow insight since people are curious and I wanted to feel comfortable
Why would she need a facelift when all the devices and treatments were supposed to stave off a facelift?
Sigh. Your doctor has no idea how technically skilled and advanced the p.s surgeons are in china. All my friends who went to shanghai to do their noses and eyes as well as smas FL all look so youthful and rejuvenated.
This makes me think that all of the torture, all the products, all the money spent….. was for nothing.
Why?
I wish I lived there I would go get it doen in heartbeat. Where I am living only 1 plastic surgeon and he said I look too young for those procedures even though I'm 40 years old.
😊
you are scaring and weakening your SMAS energy devices PLLA PCL HA the surgeon does not like it ding a facelift.
Your have your choice.. you look awesome but do it if you want to 🎉
Thank you
You should get a facelift. You look old for being 42.
You are a jerk…move on
