i think your solution is freakin' genius. it's not necessary to shout out from the rooftops that you're tibetan. excel in your field and the world will know you are tibetan.
It's really good and admirable to possess knowledge of another language but it's really not good and not admirable to speak that language and one's own mother tongue at the same time, blending the two, if you care about your own people and if you are loyal to your own people. And another reason is that not everybody who is listening to you is definitely understanding you because many of them certainly haven't had the opportunity to learn another language.
