  • This video is a second episode of the 3 part series where we dive deep into a research of more than 25 years conducted by inkosi uMveli Diko about the true story of the Bhaca people. This episode focuses on the formation of the Bhaca nation's culture and leadership in times of war. Qekethsa Bhaca is a platform of dialogue prioritising the Bhaca people and their destiny, we do not profess to know it all, we also know the history of the Bhaca people was never really written down by colonial historians thus some facts can be easily disputed and hard evidence may come as flimsy or orally inconsistent. All the views expressed on this video are based on what the guest claims as his research found over a long period, until and unless a different narrative with evidence is presented we are happy to present this conversation as part of the life long quest to put the hidden story of the Bhaca people to the agenda. Please leave comments below.

    Greetings!
If AmaBhaca are not related to any tribe, how is it that your language resembles seSwati so much?

I think it's probably because of the Nguni they were in. The Tekela Nguni. Amaswati i think also derived from the same Nguni tribe

@@VuyoMere10 true that thanks for pointing that out. if you listen to episode 1 you will get to hear that amaBhaca, amaSwati, amaNdebele, abePhuthi were sibling cultures, from the same source, also they all setttled along the Lebombo Mountains since arrival here South in the 1600's...only separated around late 1700's as ama Zelemu and abePhuthi decided to continue the journey South.
