The message can apply to all of us, to rise from every suffering and difficult life period and turn our weakness into strength, just as the Serbian people experienced recovery after great human losses during the WW1> The symbol of Armistice Day in the First World War.. That is why 'Ramonda' is Serbian national flower, a symbol of peace and hope for survival and recovery. 'Ramonda' grows only in the central Balkans, which practically means on the territory of some mountain in Serbia' Anyway, it is 'the protected species of plant'.. It is also called the'phoenix flower'.. A wonderful plant, so common, yet so strong and hardy.. By repeating of Lillac 'Ramonda' she calls out for Ramonda to appear.. She is looking for a 'guiding star' (called Danizza - in most Slaves country around here) to show her the way out to salvation. 🌸☮️ And then..." there is one Ramonda rising up from the ashes".. 💜
The rock on which the singer is lying at the beginning of the video represents the island of Corfu in Greece, where Serbian soldiers recovered in the First World War, after retreating across Albania. We call the sea around the island of Krv the Blue Tomb, because many soldiers who died are buried there. In Serbia, the Ramonda flower is a symbol of rebirth and rising from the ashes. Also Ramonda is called phoenix flower. The people have gone through and are going through many misfortunes and sufferings, but they always hope that everything will be fine. This song is dedicated to all those who sacrificed themselves for the benefit of new generations.
Urika, to me, honestly, you really stand up among the vast majority of those Eurovision fans who so far commented on songs of this contest .. I think it's mainly because you took time to actually hear the song..you actually listened, very focused, and obviously just enjoyed listening to a song, from the beginning till the end, without any pause during performance, no long comments on anything and everything before hearing the whole piece, no interruptions after every second, no blabbing.. First you listened then you commented. Simply as that. Thank you. I think I'll subscribe.
🇷🇸 I'm glad you understand our song about Ramonda because it's a resurrection flower in the true sense - it hibernates and is born again when it rains like 🇷🇸 Serbia ! I wish everyone new a positive spiritual resurrection and peace throughout Europe and the world like Ramoda !!! Welcome in 🇷🇸 Serbia next year on Eurovision song contest !
Exactly! The song is evocative and emotive… Good perceptive analysis of this song’s creative and non-boring structure. Feel free to love a good balad when you hear one! 💜 from Serbia
Thanks for very nice reaction ❤Don't forget, on Saturday, May 11, Teya Dora - the song Džanum Moye more - will represent Serbia in the Eurovision final. Vote for Teya Dora and Ramonda's song about a flower that promotes peace in the world and the hope that all people become good. ❤❤ from Teya Dora's fans
