CCNY's Great Hall: Mission Statement Made Manifest

CCNY President Vincent Boudreau welcomes the Class of 2024 with a personal tour of the Great Hall. On the occasion of Freshman Convocation, President Boudreau explains the history and symbolism of the architecture, decorative flags, stained-glass windows, and Edwin Blashfield's mural, "The Graduate," as representative of the founding mission of City College and its enduring importance today.
Though 2020 Freshman Convocation could not take place in the Great Hall, due to the pandemic, President Boudreau provided this introduction to the newest members of the CCNY community as part of a full-length virtual Convocation ceremony on Sept. 17, 2020. www.ccny.cuny....
