The most common is getting permission from the family of the bride and many ceromonies to be conducted and superstition to follow like the food in the video... And it's mostly the whole family, it's a way of them of welcoming a newlyweds on each others families and their child/ren in the future....😊😊
@@squashley7034 yeah. In America we do still have people where they ask the parents for permission first but it’s usually on as respect for elders so we will probably stop doing it in the next generation of people
You should search other asian countries' engagement party/wedding day..
Some even have the superstition that the groom should not see the bride the day of their wedding.. The 1st time that groom will saw the bride on the wedding day is when she walk down the aisle... Because if they saw each other something bad will happen.. Also that's also adds up to couple's emotion when they see each other on the church or venue.. 😊😊
