dang, I had that same issue too, maybe practice harder sure but one of my friends had that issue and took like some medicine and they didn’t feel a lick of nervous and made state, still doing good man keep it up
its ok man, im also a sophmore that plays trumpet in 6a and missed state by 4 spots. first etude sold me for sure as well but the other two were amazing. keep your head and keep working
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Your consistency really paid off. I’m sure you will make state next year you have it in you no doubt. Ik you’re glad it’s over haha. Some years are just bad years. I got first chair district one year and made the highest band and the next I got alternate. It’s disappointing but all you can do is try your best and that’s what u did. Btw your progress during this has been insane!! Congratulations again on ur amazing performance and I can’t wait to see what you get next year.
It's okay, even if you didn't make it to state, you still improved as a trumpet player over these months, and you should be proud of yourself for being so dedicated and consistent. Good job on fifth, that's really good. And you're gonna cook on solo and ensemble 🔥
hey man. it’s me again. im so happy ive watched your journey this whole time. im extremely proud of you and if they heard one of your previous recordings. it’s a free ticket to state. there’s always solo and ensemble. im still proud of you bro its always a learning experience! keep your head up!
Hey dude, im proud of you. Maybe not a lot of people say it but, I’m proud of ya. Know that you worked for it, but sometimes, it doesn’t go as planned. But, these experiences that we have in life, build us to be wiser people. I hope you remember how it felt when you were on your way up. The struggles, hours, practicing, it’s tough. But I am a middle school trumpet player who got 1st in region. The first thing I did, was observe the nervousness and got a grip of it and put it in control. I dug deep and stayed humble all the way. There were many people above me that were very cocky and looked down on others. I was in the 3rd band and made it to the top band on my 8th grade year. The thing is, I never had talent, I never had the advantages like everyone else in school, I never looked down on anyone on my way up no matter the struggle. I still have so much more to go through and learn. But I know one thing for sure. I got one shot and so do you. You have one life and sometimes, you gotta act like your life depends on it. You have two years left so make first place. If you stay humble, confident, and consistent, I believe you will be first next year. It’s not about the talent, skills, abilities. It’s about the attitude and the will to make it to the top. It’s not who you’re going against, it’s about what it is. It’s not you vs him, or you vs all of them, it’s not who are skilled jas you. It’s you vs you. Comparison is the thief of joy and, honestly people who compare themselves, never make it. Questioned why, then I thought about it. It’s because they’ve never questioned themselves. So know that, there might be others doing better than you, but might never have the attitude you have. You got this, and you can do this! Reach for the top, remain kind to those below you! I believe in you!
congrats man! lets hit this harder next year youre doing amazing i thought you were a jr like me lol but im so happy its over even though we didnt make it yk
