I’m a roadie. Let me break down how awesome Feeder and their crew are in this video. Feeder get the stage late or their soundcheck time has been compromised (happens frequently at festivals where other bands go over their allotted time or the local guys are running behind trying to fix issues). Despite this, they want to give their fans the full show where it would be easier to just cut it short. Instead of linecheck/soundchecking for the full usual 10-15mins at a festival they run out and make some noise for less than a minute (poor monitor engineer and backline/audio guys are putting in serious overtime). Hard working crew and a band with integrity. They are using some of their own gear (basic festival touring package) and the house monitor system packs it in part way through the show. Audio isn’t my specialist field (I do video) so I can only speculate as to what happened here. Instead of stopping the show and throwing a wobbly like some best selling artists I’ve worked for would do they just tell the crowd they’re having some issues without stopping and don’t let it get them down. That is serious talent and class right there that you can’t learn and money can’t buy. Firm handshakes all round chaps!
Thanks for explaining that. Fair play to the lads. No histrionics. No strops. Just a quick twinkle with the instruments and straight into it. And sounding bloody brilliant considering too. I've seen Feeder a few times. Never fail to smash it live!!
@@giggs102 The mix used for the video would be the front of house mix or just straight out and mixed later for the video. The sound for the guys on stage is from a separate sound desk with individual mixes for each member..... that's where the issue is.
Just bought tickets to go and see Feeder for my dads birthday over at Brixton in May, to say I'm hyped is an understatement, first started listening to them when I was like, 8 years old, 17 years later, and I still am.
Just seen Feeder for the first time at Highest Point Festival in Lancaster (2019) and let me tell you, words cannot describe how good they were. They sounded absolutely amazing and the crowd was about a million times more active than here! Everyone had a crazy time and Grant couldn't believe what he was seeing, really was a true atmosphere. Unexpectedly they played Seven Days and Turn much to the crowd's surprise and it paid off, I've never been in such a crazy crowd - everyone dancing and jumping, right the way back! A night I'll never forget!
Such pros for continuing and delivering a decent set despite all of the problems outside of their control. This is my favourite live version of Pushing the Senses that I have heard.
My all time fave band these, got to see them at The Leadmill in Sheffield and seriously, THESE ARE BLOODY BRILLIANT live and I've seen a lot of bands but these top the lot. Also Kudos to Grant Nicholas for not stopping and stropping over the sound issues, just merely pointed out the issues and happily gotten on with it.
Spoon Of Doom they have fantastic American rock and grunge bands too. There is! Only a few great British bands. The American bands too me are the best! Feeder is up there too and royal blood!
I seen feeder at t in the park about 2000, what a band they were to watch live, had the crowd going mental especially with buck rodgers and seven days in the sun
I had a rather eccentric science teacher that could’ve easily been Grant’s doppelgänger! He drove a Fiat X19 covered head to toe in duct tape “so that no one steals it” (his words not mine), had the most jankiest guitar collection (a heavily crapped out 50s Les Paul JR ruined with active EMGs and a load of weird Japanese pawn shop guitars, which I used to borrow on a regular basis back in the day). He introduced me to some of Led Zeppelin’s more obscure stuff. He also built his own kit car, which he drove to school once and got laughed at by everyone, except me, who understood his intent!
I wonder? When this band first appeared? How long they been around? First heard the music around 2008. Maybe earlier? This band and royal blood. Which is a new British band! Two No1 British bands for millennium. Awesome.😀," bring it on guys!," also stero phonics , if it 1970,'s &, ,80',s , I can list them. Brit bands!😁
Very annoying that almost every song is tuned down either a half or whole step from how it sounds on the record. Probably doesn't bother most people, but really gets to me
Marc Davis but I agree, it does miss some kind of punch to the songs.. however I wouldn't mind that if they'd perform in Europe again, it's been 6,5 long years since their last visit :(
They had massive issues with the sound for this performance. Grant was continually saying he couldn't hear himself. They didn't have a soundcheck too apparently. Considering the sound problems they had I think they sounded bloody good. A lot of bands would have spat their dummies out and either cut short the set or refused to play until it was sorted.

TheCaptainOnTour thanks for that comment mate that explains it all now! I love feeder

The most down to earth rockstars ever

Feeder have to be the most underrated band in the UK. Listening to Feeder has helped me through so much over the last few years
Like Big Country
yep great band....love watching them....
Fantastic albums
That's a big list....I'd like to add the Enemy to it
i am 62 and have always loved this band. enough said :P

@@revivedfearsyes, like how’d you get into them? What was your introduction?
Tommy always looks like an ultra excited Feeder fan that can't believe he's on stage with them :D Great enthusiastic musician!
How this band isn’t more popular I’ll never know. Epic sound, and original. Awesome!
glad to see them uncut thanks yt
Amazing band. Never seen live but hopefully when this virus leaves I'll be able to see Feeder live.

I don't know why they aren't the biggest band in the world.
At least a youtube video of a full Feeder gig streaming that is not a clickbait of a bot channel!! Thank you very much!!!
Oh yeah, that's bothering me all the time as well! Finally a proper full proshot Feeder gig again, happy to share it!
Feeder are a class act Live First saw them at Reading in 1997 and loved them ever since.
I was there too , probably one of the best line ups I've ever seen through out the whole weekend .

COMFORT IN SOUND. What an album.
Echo Park has so many good tracks too, comfort in sound had a few to many downer songs. Godzilla tho - what a track
Brilliant and so sad
@@rentaspoon219funny how Godzilla is my least favorite track. lol, I’m a downer and love all of the downer/mellow songs.
F*****g brilliant.
Feeder is love
I was in that crowd on the banking. Sounded great. Magnificent experience. Love to see them again.
Thank you so much for uploading this!!!!!!!! This vid is so precious
Backing vocals on Buck Rogers especially were bang on. So much energy in this show
I just wish they'd come to Germany again. Always loved their shows!
Just got a 20€ ticket for the end of March in Amsterdam; next best thing to me!
Spoon Of Doom they have fantastic American rock and grunge bands too. There is! Only a few great British bands. The American bands too me are the best! Feeder is up there too and royal blood!

Massive thanks for uploading this - I didn't know it was being broadcast!
John Simmons I always thought they were American! There music . sounds American!!!! Love it. And they are from UK! Amazing!!!😁

A mention to the crowd who rocked it. At 52.32 two guys in the crowd high five each other, look like strangers. Good vibes.
Wonder if they'll ever come to Sweden. Been a fan for many years now and haven't got a chance to see them live.
これは神動画だ…2019、日本で待ってるぜ

Pants are off as soon as I hear Lost and Found. Such a good tune!

I first heard of this band on Xfm, 1998 ! Great music played on that station. Australian DJ. Nowadays radio station shit !😁
So did I! But on the recorded Ricky Gervais show episodes in 2014 or something lol.
I wish I could’ve been here
Class act, go Feeder 🤘🐰👍
Top band!
I love the song "Eskimo", sick band !

Tommy, please reunite Slaves to Gravity and make third kickass album like a previous ones!
For those unaware - Tommy Gleeson is Feeder's touring guitarist and former singer/guitar from StG.
Rocking Out to Feeder during the 2020 BS Scamdemic.,., Thankyou Feeder!! Awesome Band!! :)
true oldschool warrior is Grant…pushing on with shit sound…anyone whos ever been on stage dealing with that knows the pain 💪
Love the new drummer 😀
Lane Hogger Gary Brazil is really good. Not as good as Jon but all the same really good

Lane Hogger I thought there original drummer was awesome. But this drummer is good!
I did not know they changed drummers! The original drummer was awesome! From what I remember! This guy is great!😯😀😉

No Sweet 16 or Descend :(
No 'Sunrise' or 'Heads Held High' :'(
that skinny guy on the guitar sings some mean backing vocals!
Check out his former bands Slaves to Gravity and The Ga-Ga's. He sang lead and played rhythm guitar.
Great Show. Been wondering do they ever play any songs from Silent Cry live?
There's a vid of Miss You on youtube. Look it up
shit hot
アジカンとのツアー見てきました。最高!
Grant seems pissed off! No soundcheck, amps out of phase, can't hear himself. Not surprised!
Yes indeed, but for us the sound is quite good.
so hot
they had IT then and they still got it now
Very annoying that almost every song is tuned down either a half or whole step from how it sounds on the record. Probably doesn't bother most people, but really gets to me
Marc Davis yeah unfortunately Grant's voice hasn't got the same range anymore as he had before his illness, but at least they are still performing :)
Fair enough, yeah can see why they're forced do it. Still a good set nonetheless!
Marc Davis but I agree, it does miss some kind of punch to the songs.. however I wouldn't mind that if they'd perform in Europe again, it's been 6,5 long years since their last visit :(

Great show but please Taka Hirose cut that beard
forgot how good feeder were still are
Ross Proudlock, Forgot???!!! Wow, it's something I remember daily.
Sarah DuBal haha great comment
Who is the kid on the guitar? Also that single ESKIMO is WAY better live...
