    Wao.... this is encouraging, at times one might think companies will reject them if don't have right credentials, but loved the part that, you only need to prove that you are qualified and the rest will follow.

    I find that recruiters don't just look for a 'candidate', but rather an 'overqualified' one. It is their job, to find the absolute best of the best for the company, among all the other hundred of contestants.. third-party recruiters tend to be the 'road of no return'.
    It is in my personal belief, that if you wish to succeed, make an impression to the company whom wish to hire. Just like Amigoscode mentions, don't just apply left and right - search for the 'right company' for you.. that way you'll show them that "Hey, I have actually taken my time read about your company, because i genuinely feel like this would be a great place to be".
    But that's just my opinion.

    This might be true to when working or trying to find a job in London or in UK in general, but for me I live in Copenhagen and I got rejected from some big companies just based on the fact that I don't have a university degree such as a bachelors or masters degree. I know that because a lot of hiring managers have told it to me to my face towards the end of the interview. That's why I have mainly worked at startups or mid-size companies as their not as picky compared to the big ones, but then again everywhere is different so yea everyone has their preference, just speaking based on my experience.

      I think it's a crime for a company to require a degree if you're applying for a front-end developer role. A developer, to me, is akin to an electrician. Just as electricians use tools and materials, develop by electrical engineer, to provide a service; a software developer uses the technologies developed by computer scientist to develop digital product for clients and businesses.

    @Amigoscode I have an idead for a video:
    What is more important for a developer to be good? Understanding technologies, tools, etc, or having a nice logical reasoning? Should we do exercises on leet code regularly? or it's best to study kubernetes, spring, etc etc.
    Congratz on this video btw! Awesome!

    If you can go for a degree in IT is good but if not sky is your limit. People are making it into IT WITHOUT degree but doing well in degree means no hurdles in IT you cant overcome because you have limited time to study different programmes, three months for a term is too short.

    Hello amigos, I'd like to know if the m1 MacBook air 8gb ram is good enough for Android development, spring boot, and so on?

    • @Ayrayen
      @Ayrayen 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that should be fine. However, android studio + emulators causes the mac to run on overdrive. (Makes it hot, quick loss of batery and of course generally high cpu usage.)
      A tip would be to get an android device instead of emulator for better performance.
      I hope this helps! (feel free to ask more)

    • @titohidayat1063
      @titohidayat1063 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I suggest you to buy 16 gb if you want to use emulator. Minimum requirements for Android Studio now is 8gb.

    • @BelethKing
      @BelethKing 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      best of is to start off with little steps ,lets say "create simple blog" with tutorial then add stuff to it ,break it ,remake it ,doing it on your own. Think of a program what would you like it to do ,think of functionalities, start coding. Don't follow tutorials ,just find answers on stack overflow ,put them back together. It can be pretty sloppy at first but you will learn how to fix your own problems instead of fixing 'typos' that you made during re-typing the tutorial.

    Machallah. All the ability to get accepted and finish the tech job and get paid comes from Allah after whatever efforts and number of experience on github does not matter with regard to the number of applicants. That to itself is not a perfect fit, not speaking about the jobs found on the LinkedIn algorithms. No one knows if he is really a perfect fit even if he makes sure that he has all the job application requirements. There are also some meaningless requirements about location restrictions and time zone availability. One can give up on applying on LinkedIn and does not know that his successful job application is just one step further. So it is really not clear but the importance is to love what you do and have that collaboration mindset that coding is based on😄👋
