Hi guys! Thanks for tuning in... Short one today! We're back in the garage today, and carrying on welding up Agent 0842's 1967 Datsun 411, and while I was there, I wanted to put a piece together for the 1959 Buick LeSabre project that we are working on as well! Thanks to everyone who ordered a 2025 Coldwarmotors calendar! They are in the mail now! Thanks to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your "likes" and comments!

I'm always impressed by how neat the body lines he makes come out, having watched and re watched the process numerous times I still can't get over how well he makes these complex shapes and angles.
When you say you whistle a piece up and weld it into place, that's an incredible understatement of the effort, skill, and artistry involved. I'm hard-pressed to weld a patch into my burn barrel, while the work you're doing has to be smooth, contoured, finished and painted. You really are a rust-patch savant of the first order!
You are a true artist! I take my hat off to you. I sure wish the guys that worked on my old Falcon so many years ago had as much talent and dedication to getting the job done right. Bravo!🙂
Progress = forward motion = motivation to continue. Self-encouragement! I finally learned that after decades of roller coaster morale rides on cars; it was "forced" upon me when going through all my own surgeries and cancers, leaving me unable to do much beyond little tasks on Fred the GTX at a time. Little did I realize it actually helped me to get the car done and maintain motivation! - Ed on the Ridge
It always amazes me how you make fixing rust holes look so easy, Scott. Both the 59 and the 411 are coming along nicely. I am especially looking forward to the 411 getting paint. Cheers
Well, I got my temporary fix until Saturday. Lol. Scott, you are the master of metal shaping. All hail, the metal master! Lol! See ya Saturday ! Cheers!
I want to Thank You for sharing with us your amazing skills in metal forming and in making rusty hulks back into running cars. I also want to thank you for the Alberta clippers swooping down on us. It keeps the hoodlums inside and you can put up decorations in a blustery wind peacefully. Cheers and catch you on Saturday.
Dat soon? Dang, another year almost over, looking at the Fraser for a few more weeks, then I get to open the cardboard box for another 12 spectacular saves. All classics get proper care on this channel, no holes barred. They get properly and totally removed then ready for paint. Guess when 2024 is dismantled and spread around on the wall, Ash’s Datsun will be red all over again. 😊
Wouldn't mind watching a little of the actual pounding, shrinking, and stretching of the metal pieces into shape, even at a fast clip. BTW - If Ash is still out here on the Left Coast, there's a '66 Datsun 411 on cl here in Santa Cruz. Seller's asking $5500.
Hi Scott.... Nice work as usual. I was just talking to someone today about the first panel I made, back in the early 70s. Watching you whip up some patches and remembering my days of doing this stuff makes me just a wee but happy. Thanks!
Excellent Video Cold Water Motors Scott :) , Ashley :) Datsun 411 car getting fix up before primer and paint also super car when done! Minumnal on Rust Repair and good condition to ! See You All on Saturday night show down! Hope Frankers enjoy the snow too and plus more!
Cheers Scott! Hope all is well up your way, Virginia is cold for early December, but certainly not unusual if one's been around here a few decades. Ain't got much snow on my side of the Commonwealth, but the Western side and the mountains been hit... Anyhow, thanks as always, cheers!
Hi Scott. Those little high school patchy poos are great to see. I've been doing some simple (for you) patches in my 32 2 door Ford and it was pushing the boundaries for me. I want to thank you and Kyle for inspiring me to have a go at these type of repairs. Thanks Guys! All the best, Mart in England.
Man Scott, i know you spent at least a half hour trying to get your "finger clicks" to match up. Ive done it. Cool effect but tough to edit! I love your patches. Mint! Cheers From Mike at Junk's Automotive
I've seen dirtier pans at a Michelin restaurant. Well done Ash for embracing the suck and taking it the next level. Kudos to Scott for making a dog leg repair look easy. I would have just traced Frankers leg and called it a day.
Somewhat surprised you could hold the sandblaster steady in the cold. Have you made up your mind on a winter beater? I think you should is the funds one would cost to get tires for the Volvo and DM, along with anything else the SM might need. Cheers and see you Saturday.

Wish I was that talented.
After all of these years and all of the projects I am still amazed to watch Scott build a car out of scraps of sheet metal. Big 👍
I'm always impressed by how neat the body lines he makes come out, having watched and re watched the process numerous times I still can't get over how well he makes these complex shapes and angles.
@ Absolutely. Some squiggly lines on masking tape and we’re off!

You need Santa to bring you one of those rust removing lasers lol 😊
Magic to me. That metal fab work is amazing. I feel like a hot shot if I can get a piece of aluminum pipe to fit for a clothes dryer vent.
