    It's a great idea for when you've run out of ideas lol. My dog has bad eyes and can't tell when the sliding glass door is closed, so I always put window clings at her eye level so she doesn't run into the door. Just had to share that lol

    Oh nice! I like the transparency of the stickers: since they are meant for windows, they might make some gorgeous sun catchers and of course tree ornaments!

    How interesting. I have stuck decals onto acrylic and sealed in resin. Never thought about sticking to mold first

    What a great idea!!! Like you, I wish the round one had come out right😱. You save all of us SSSSOOO much frustration by trying things out for us.

    I kind of figured the free floating ones were going to curl (or even melt). Tiny, thin, plastic sheets in an exothermic reaction, right? Like watching Shrinky Dinks that got only have way through their time in the oven! But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised the other set worked! I thought they were going to do the same thing as the free floating ones! So, that's really cool! Thanks for sharing!

    the little tray can be repurposed by painting gold around the outside edge, and then doing a small pour on the inside with glittery resin, i think it would look nice.

    Yeah you did it, thank you. Awe they curled in that one but the other one came out great. Thank you again for doing this.

    If you cut them out and run them thru a laminator first, that should prevent the curling and shrinking problem. I do that with my pictures I want to embed for my hat pins and keychains.

    I love this idea. I was wondering, do you think that it would work with the softt jellied kind of ones that you stick on your windows? I don't know if they're rubber or just softened plastic or acrylic. I was thinking that the resin might melt them, but I've seen you put so many different things in resin that it didn't melt, that I think that it might just work. Maybe one day you could test it to see, for they're made for all of the seasons. Thanks for all of your experiments.

    And, you’re so right! These window stickers are so, so cheap!! I love how you can see the picture from both sides! Seems absolutely awesome for a tree ornament!!

    Do you think you could use the gel window stickers in the coaster moulds, before you pour your resin and then remove once cured and pour another colour resin in the area where the gel window sticker once was?

    what is the heaviest Resin mix you've made? I saw your cement one and the limestone and it got me wondering what mix has worked well and has made the heaviest resin once dried.

  • @thetinmanwich

    What do you do with the massive amount of resin you always have left over every time?

  • @peepla7
    @peepla7 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Those aren't stickers 0:10 ...those are decals. Usually made if thin pieces of vinyl. I'm thinking...could melt. So I'll finish watching and see if I'm correct.

  • @peepla7
    @peepla7 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I use vinyl stickers in my mould but I stick them on the mould first then I pour resin over the top , like I do with tattoos I stick them on mould then pour over the resin , do a top coat to seal it all in . Works great for me
