I found a 1970 11 stop Reuter in Wichita that I am moving to the Rio grande in nm. I added a 32' bourdon octave. Love Reuter !! I have the only 32' octave in nm is in my living room!!! Reuter will be missed!!!

As a former employee I must say Reuter is such a great place to work ! If I didn’t move away I’d still be there , if you love pipe organs everyone there is sooo kind and will teach you all that you need to know

As you probably know by now, Reuter sold off their equipment and machines at auction and sold the facility :(

@@HobbyOrganist yeah a bunch of truly great deals on all of the stuff, and some thing fetched a pretty high price , like the little old coning machine I spent many an hour using sold for almost 5k!

We have a Reuters pipe organ at our church. I'm playing it Sunday. Ours is at least a 1960s model.

Awesome tour of the factory. Great to see such pride taken in a job well done. The employees have such unique personalities though... like the seven dwarfs. Expecially the voicer. Lol

My church has a wonderful 3/35 Reuter built in 1934-35. Original was 3/24. 11 ranks were added in 1984. All 4 divisions under expression and it’s a wonderful and versatile instrument. You can hear it on my channel in several videos

Love the tour.. I never thought much about that organ firm..shame on me..i love the way they build pipe organs. And build there own pipes..wow..ive been around pipe organs. Mainly a theatre organ marr. Colton.1926. Our church e.m skinner witch is no longer ..replaced by a martin ott in 2001.i was there when they put it all together in our church..it took 2 mo to put up. About 25 ranks it has some old em.skinner pipes.re used..2 ranks i recall...but this is a great organ co.u toured..i hope u can visit more builders..what a nice program u put out .to the public..thank u..i took interest in pipe organs as a child i met mr.melgard in his last yr. At chicago stadium..got to sit at the barton.console ..it was huge..god bless .

It might not be a Skinner, but Martin Ott organs are quality instruments.

Yes martin ott is exalent craftmanship.. Our church has one i watched it go up piece by piece..for over a mounth his sons were there installing it. Martin himself voiced it..about 25 ranks..2 man . with presets .tracker..i injoyed being in there they were most kind.having me ... A church member donated the money for the organ ..who loves pipe organ s..they did not want a elctric organ in the church ..

I sure could use some of that ability to voice the pipes in an organ I built years ago. Voicing is tough.

Interesting that Reuter seems to re-home its organs where possible,.
