The GameStop by my house was insane last night. Something about being around a group of people for a game you’re just as excited for makes the hype so much more fun. Happy Zelda day ya’ll!
I passed by the gamestop in union Square in nyc and said I wonder what game this is for with extreme sarcasm
There was only like 10 people at my local shop. It's in a shitty area so people don't stick around for too long or they risk getting mugged.

I went to Best Buy to get mine this morning, and man it was packed. It was cool to see so many people waiting in line for a Zelda game.

So fun! I made a video going to the midnight release at the Nintendo Store in NY! Mr.Aonuma and Doug Bowser were there!
My gamestop had around 200 people show up. We had great weather so it was fun.
Somethings off that they kept their back door open during this like that 😅 they did their midnight so different than the one i went to had games, food, music cosplay. The hang out for a few hours was like the old days with everyone.
The gamestop experience really depends on locations seems like :(

NICE VIDEO!! I really enjoyed the Q&A with the crowd! I remember playing 3D games on the 64 for the first time and really becoming immersed in the gameplay and world I was in. That would also be the last time I played Nintendo as I passed on the GameCube. I just remember not liking the funky controller, cute and colorful, boxy console design, and "All Audiences" game selection when compared to the PS2. It was really the first time I saw Nintendo as more for kids and not the super cool (in my mind anyway) young adult I had become.

Because my local GameStop is inside a mall they aren’t having a midnight launch but they are opening 2 hours earlier than usual on Friday. Hoping to get the wood plaque that’s included as a pre-order bonus
There was a mall close by to this GameStop which had a GameStop inside of it and they were letting people who pre-ordered the game at the mall go to this stand-alone location and pick it up

I pre-ordered mine from Best Buy and I got it yesterday lol a full day early, i would never go to gamestop unless I absolutely had zero other choices

Gamestop is going to go out of business. Eventually thry will go out of business cause at some point there will not be a need to go there because all games will be digital and you will just but and download games onto your console.

@@vanburen20 honestly im gonna wait til someone complete the whole thing has a video of it and probably just follow along with it 😂😂😂 I've done 100 hours of exploring on breathe of the wild looking for shrines seeds towers side quests etc. Then I did a video follow along so I can complete everything
That midnight release seemed very impersonal compared to what it used to be with fun and games. Well at least from what I’ve heard. I never did any midnight releases. 🤣

Midnight Releases are rare for games like Zelda or like God of War it's doesn't happen often hopefully that Starfield can get this type of what Zelda did before on Midnight Releases since Redfall failed .
That sucks, I didn't pre-order and they let me buy the game and gave me the pre-order bonuses at midnight.
