@@AziDoesQuestionableThings ah. That one. Yeah I bought that one from the high vaultage ep. Panic is now my most desired ID to drop, alongside Micro Pimp and Soldier 69
15:31 I freakin love moments like this. When the production, the drop, and the creativity is at such a unfathomably high level that Connor brakes and struggles to come back from that higher dimension of pure 🔥!
@@clueless3773 Naw man, its quite the opposite. Sublime. I remember listening to Space Laces’ Dungeons & Dragons long ago. Now, it represents only a faint part of the variety of sounds and composition I’ve come to associate him with, but even after I first heard D&D, I could not find other songs that captured so well what it did. I can sympathize with the feelings he isn’t consistent. But to me, when looking at his musical timeline on the whole, there’s a display of such broad technical and musical comprehension and experience, that it gives me confidence in whatever creative approaches he pursues next.
I wish he would just release these songs separately in like EPs and shit. So we could have the discretion of playing them in a different order. Space Laces could be the best bass music artist right now, absolutely no question. Excision will always be my favorite but right now he's nowhere near Space Laces' level as of late. The student has outdone the master. Also, it says your discord link is invalid or outdated. I tried to join. (Fixed)
While teminite is my favorite for stylistic reasons as well as his unparalleled ability to mix genres, he does sometimes fall short in areas like sound design where he's good but not incredible. But when I think of someone who has mastered dubstep as a style in all its facets with near perfection, space laces stands on his own, with VR and zomboy following closely behind. He really is the modern master that everyone should learn from, like hendrix for guitar or pavarotti for tenors.
I think Space Laces and Moody Good are the two artists that have absolutely mastered Dubstep as an art form, to the point where they can experiment and push it further not only with regard to sound design, but composition as well. Space Laces’ ability to define each new wave of bass music with every release and inspire a bunch of copycats is really similar to how Skrillex used to set a new trend with every release back in the day. This is the most hype I’ve seen for a bass music release in a long time. While Space Laces isn’t as popular as artists like VR or SVDDEN DEATH because he’s not as prolific, he’s just as influential and important.
Dude I've been following you for like 3 years now, but this one is still my favorite video of yours, any time Vaultage 003 comes up on my queue, I get the urge to watch this video again, like almost every 3 months, I adore your reactions, insane concoction Space Laces has graced us with, and it was just pure joy to experience it with you, for the first time.
