Asking because of the way Nigerians rush Ikoyi Registry, it's always Ikoyi as if there are no other Registries across the country especially in the East. Some people say for travel purposes, Ikoyi Registry is the only acceptable certificate.
How True is that?
Also is there a Registry for Imo state?
I cannot seem to find info online about Registry in the East, it's only Ikoyi all over the net🤷‍♀️

Every state has …the document is valid anywhere. I feel people go to Lagos cos of the signboard of the registry 😂😂. All I know is that we are married legally and the doc can be presented anywhere. There will definitely be a registry in IMO but it’s not online.

is not necessary courthouse wedding in USA the priest signed the marriage license who marriage you legal is the priest.
