I live in the same city as Aaron and see him on the local trails periodically. Always a treat to hear his hub as he's flying by like a runaway train. The chainless win teaches some life lessons that go beyond the bike.
Aaron Gwin seems like a chill, down to earth guy. Saw bunch of fans asking to take pictures and the dude posed over a hundred times in 15 minutes or so. Inspiring to see one the GREAT was originally from SoCal.
Great work Clay Porter as always and looking forward to what you come up with in the remaining three episodes. Aaron, having met you at Mont-Sainte-Anne in 2017 and watching that incredible race, you are a real down to earth dude. What is cool is that even though there is 20+ years between us, you were awesome to me in my excitement in talking to you. It is crazy how BMX is the gateway drug to mountain biking. I raced BMX in the 80's, and hen back at it in 1996 at 30. Broke my collarbone twice in a year. I didn't ride a bike from 1999-2015. Starting mountain biking and it has been awesome. Two Red Bull Fox Hunt's in Ireland in 2017 and 2018. I love it. Watching you race at Mont-Sainte-Anne has been awesome. I was so looking forward to it again this year. I wish you luck in whatever races you get to do. All the best, BostonDon
That helmet GoPro section is insane. You can see the winning determination and concentratin in his eyes as the trail, turns, jumps, kicks and twist about in the background. Tommorrow, I ride!!!
Mate you inspired me to start mountain biking, and I recently started training for my first downhill race in the northwest cup. Love the vids, keep these up.
Brilliant Vid Clay.... Aaron's state of mind is what has him where he is today.... life is a delicate balance, being honest with yourself is the glue that keeps it all together..... getting out of bed and approciating there are not only 60 minutes in an hour, rather 60 seconds in a minute! An inspiring human being which proves that in one person, there is all of humanity! Keep looking for your highest uphills Aaron... that's there the biggest downhills are!
Seriously brilliant cinematography, so many bike videos are flat in their perspectives. The composition in this video really makes you feel the excitement in every ride. Well done.
Bro, being newish to the sport and crossing paths with you a few time so far, mad respect for you, from your riding to the way you present yourself with fans young and older. When I came across you at my first race in southridge, I had no idea who you were other than some pro and that my friends kids were mad excited you were there. Had you sign some stickers which I thank you for because it made their day. If you want any more Single-track🍔 King stickers I have some left, I'll be sure to bring them whenever I'm in your area of riding in case we cross paths again. Great video 👌, looking forward to the next.
Aaron, thanks so much for sharing some of your professional life with us. My heart skips a few beats when I see some of the jumps you take! Inspiring... Looking forward to the next 4 episodes.
Dude, you are awesome. God has blessed you very much. I share your videos with my two young children hoping it inspires them to reach for greatness, whatever it may be for them.
On ya Aron, nice clip...and yeah that chainless run was something else.(bummed you bet Conner,he’s a mate) ,but best man one on day.congrats again you weapon.stay safe..😱
If this is just the first episode... I can’t wait for the next ones! Great stuff, well done! I love watching Aaron's riding style - given how powerful a man he is he’s got that very soft, agile, cat-like style.
Sick edit and love the different angles! Good to see that Fox 40 Battleship more too, mine just arrived a few days ago for a Session build. Can’t wait for the next episode
Wish you could have made it out here at Bootleg Canyon where you did your first ever downhill run. Hope to see you here for the Winter Series! Keep up the good work!
So f*ing inspiring! Aaron Gwinn is a class act. Met him twice and he was super cool both times. I can't get over how fast and smooth he is on the Elsinore Track. I kept having issues on that rock garden and he just floated over the whole thing 🤘 respect!
At 4:16 they wanted to show us how Aaron works his front brake, but reviewing their all videos, they found out Aaron does not brake at all, which is why he's so fast.
Still get chills seeing the chainless run. So dope.
Crack of Cracks!
That was a Neo run!
me too man, amamzing
World Cup riders are just insane, especially the big 3
@@KILLAPOTATO360 Downhill racers ability to take abuse is amazing. Being in the air is the only rest they get. Until the landing... hee hee.
This is just too good! What a journey 🔥
I know right!
Watching this man just makes me want to ride
s l i c k same
I just broke my arm
Dude that sucks
Healing vibes to you man
I like how they decided to start shooting a shot of him using his brakes before realising there was nothing to be seen.
Still a neat contextual perspective shot.
Exactly. No Maguras.
trp pays him not to use their equipment
I Think the point of that shot was to show us exactly that... Him not using his brakes 😅😅
@@oliverrasmussen4564 you cant fix stupid, cant believe 66 people couldn't put that together
Love Aaron Gwin.....He is an awesome dude and a sick rider. I hope to watch and learn. We need more videos like this. Not just 5
Red Bull tv show????fingers crossed
@@laderamtb3684 Great idea

Made me want to go ride! Then me on the trail - “s%#t I’m walking this section”
😂😂same sometimes
Bro this happened to me today ffs.
Red Yellowish 😂 that’s ok man the more we ride the better we get.
Haha. Hilarious.
LOL that never happens to me! (more that two or three time per ride)
Props to Jordie and whole Fox Suspension. Those slow-mo shots were crazy! Gwin is killing it on that prototype.
I’ve been waiting for this for so long. Passed my expectations.
At 3:46 the tiny landing and tightness of the turn following that massive step down takes a few replays to appreciate
Thanks for putting me in the video! Great episode

Make me so HAPPY!!! A very good job to everyone involved! That was a fun watch!

this is amazing, no too long to get boring, not too short either, not too much talking neither too much riding, its just perfect! 😍❤️
Would love to see a longer documentation about aaron and his life🔥🔥🔥
Everything about this episode is amazing. The talent combined with the production can’t wait for the next drop.
