Now I can't help but wonder what netherwart tastes like. Maybe it's one of those foods that everyone either loves or hates, or it has an acquired taste. Since it's used in potions, it's not harmful on its own. Perhaps it's spicy? And Blue's the kind to snack on jalapeños to everyone's dismay.

@@joliegunn2270 Alternately, just like when the fighting stickmen have their page refreshed and come back with full memory of TSC/Orange, they could come back whenever they're spawned in with an egg! Like, if Reuben dies, he just pops back up as the next pig Red spawns. (I like this one because it means that the pig Red spawns in S3 who becomes a big part of the plot is still Reuben, which makes sense given some of his, uh, abilities...)
@GLEOMMY Well, it doesn't seem *totally* coincidental that he knew that potions=power in the witch hut. Like, the first time around in the first potions episode, it was just randomly drinking everything, but in the witch hut he seems to have known to actively seek them out.
Plus, no other character, even those who are experts in potion-making or effect-granting (like Blue and the Witch or Yellow and King Orange), have demonstrated the ability to manifest all of those potion effects at once (Blue seems to become *very* unwell just getting close). Bearing in mind that one of the powers is a reference to Technoblade, it could either be something all pigs have, or something unique to Reuben. I like to think that it's the latter, personally.
Or this whole thing could be foreshadowing about Reuben appearing in season 3, but I still like to think as if every pig was the same one.
If it weren’t for this episode, everything would’ve been completely shifted, and same goes for some other early episodes too,

It's very very cool how naturally blue discovered potions. It doesn't even feel like a stretch that this would be someone's line of thought!!! I know it's a small detail but it delights me so much.
Alan, your videos are some of the best animations I have ever seen. Each and every one takes a few basic concepts (i.e. stick figures, Minecraft, and potions) and sort of mixes them all into one video, with very smooth animations and an entertaining plot. It isn't a fairytale, it isn't a hero's adventure slaying every monster in existence, but it instead mixes realistic people with the drama of existing inside a computer, or, in this case, Minecraft. Every episode elaborates on the curiosity and drama of each of the stick figures, making it never just one main character throughout the series. Amazing content!

Blue's a total badass for using a shovel as a spoon- But them discovering potions was very interesting to watch, as their enjoyment of flora and growth developed into brewing, and how their increased curiosity in the concept results in them losing control, and somehow getting drunk on all these potions, and getting DESTROYED by a pig, in the process having to deal with it AS A TEAM, because this thing just got so powerful. Really makes you think, that if Red went loose, and had access to these potions, things may have turned out much less in the other stick figures' favour...
