I use next too. Celia speak english but cannot perform actions on the device like send messages, make a call. It works when you speak chinese. You can't add shortcut with browser, for web app use it can be so good. Lack of apps now, huawei cloud phone is really poor. Message app issues, when someone send me a picture, app create 2 conversations... Also i can't reply to the notifications ( open the app...) Petal maps is on english but cities names in chinese... Also, no radar alert. Tell me if you face the same issues :)
I've been using the public beta of HarmonyOS since the 28th of October, and as a new system it's excellent, but of course, it still has a few minor issues that need to be refined and fixed at this time

I have set to show my home address clock and weather all the time the other one shows the current locations weather and time. Useful for China or when you are travelling in different timezones. A bit redundant if you are in a different city of the same timezone.

I don't think it will get it so soon as first all Kirin SoC phones will get it as Huawei has all the drivers for them. Snapdragon based phones will be a lot harder as Huawei only has the Android blob drivers for them.
Telegram runs in the browser. Google and GMail as well. I did not check Signal yet. But apart from this RCS should work fine as well so I can chat with everyone I know basically.

Exactly. The HarmonyOS Next / 5.0 is currently exclusive for China. I guess they need a year or more to adapt it for global and also convince app developers to develop global apps for their OS.
I bought a nova12pro from China, now on 4.2 harmony works well in Europe, I assume that there will be no more applications available for the global market, when harmony 5 reaches us

Can you downgrade HarmonyOS NEXT to HarmonyOS ? in Europe it's best to stay with the interior version. App / apk are all incompatible at this time
