Yes Takaaki is contracted through HRC and not LCR, but the bookies DO have Cal in as favourite to step up to the factory team... Would love to see it. Zarco too, if he can find his old Tech 3 pace on a full factory Honda. Taka needs a season more I reckon before he's up to full pace, especially after his surgery. But yes, very sad news about Jorge, was a fantastic racer and it's a shame his flame dwindled a bit up till this point. He'll be sorely missed in the paddock. Nice video, Robo!
I heard Bradl would be testing the Honda after Valencia for a potential ride.
Also I think they should promote from LCR, and put Zarco on the Idemitsu bike. Whoever they promote is the issue,but I think it'd be Nakagami if they do that route, due to Cal settling for a retirement.
Shame about Lorenzo, as I think he would have the Honda working next year, but I think the Assen Crash made the mountain too high, and reduced the amount of desire he had, as he was just getting hurt

Jorge Lorenzo was my favourite rider and at some times he was better than marquez, rossi, better than everyone. Im sad that he retired. Hes not even very old
I used to hate him but today is a bad day for the sport. Jorge is a great rider and a fighter for sure. True Spartan!
Yamaha should do all they can to get lorenzo in their test team. If anyone can get the yamaha working it's him!

I have to say i wasnt a big fan of him especially after 2015 but in the past years he really has made an positive change and even without that he was and will be an extremly important part in motogp and its more than just sad that he will not race in motogp anymore ...for now you never know haha
Bedside the contract, Rossi will probably retire at the end of 2020 and let's be honest who's fitter than him to test drive for Yamaha

All riders is under contract, I think Alex Marquez stand a good chance but hope not.
The only rider to win the championship since Marquez came to MotoGP. His battles with Pedrosa, Rossi, Stoner and Marc were so good, he was one hell of a rider.

dont matter who gets the honda ride, heads will be slamming together with ego's at 200mph/300km if i had the money n push...... id call stoner to whip this kids a$$. riders who love fame= mark..... stoner,hayden,rossi etc... just flat love ridering with freewill nailing the lap times cause its fun! we use to never see practice/qf... the world was lucky to see race day.
Typical of him. I'll be the first to acknowledge AND praise his talent. He is definitely one of the best as long as he is on the right bike. But this is EXACTLY what I DON'T like about him. One bad season and he's ready to quit because he has a contract for another year on a bike he hates being on. Sad Really!!! Young and SUPER talented. But whatever. Move on and let a younger, up and coming rider give it a shot.
