Took me a while to realize that if I’m wanting to cut out words or shapes from inside another shape, that I technically don’t need to do any of these because in order to create the sliced or subtracted result when it’s actually cutting, it does the same as if I had simply attached all. I still of course like slice & subtract & certainly do use them. They’re also great for seeing what things will look like after cutting & to see which pieces might need to be saved such as the insides of letters. Also, I have been able to undo weld using the undo button as long as I have not saved my project after doing a weld. Thanks for sharing!

Very true:) I do like to see what it will look like while I’m designing a project, but you can get away without using it in some cases:)
