Red Bishop (HD)

From a Jack to a King. During the month of October and November, this ordinary bird transformed into this beautiful black and red colored bird. Males very conspicuous during breading season. Usually nest in bulrushes or reeds over water. Each male has a definite territory in which a flimsy, kidney-shaped nest is woven, for each of his three or four females.
