- At least four people were killed, including a child after strong tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma. The cities of Sulphur and Marietta were some of the hardest hit, with at least EF-3 tornadoes.

Such a sad situation in Oklahoma, praying for the people who went through those tornadoes.

4 people died so its apparent that God had ignored the prayers for those people.

A few years ago our business was destroyed by a tornado. It was nothing this destructive. I just want to encourage this man and the people who lost their business/homes to take it one day at a time. It will be a long journey but you will get there and come out stronger ❤

@@half-breed You know tornadoes hit all over middle america and that we have real homes right? Building a tornado resistant home is a fine thing to say...many homes can resist tornados...but an f4 or f5 is on another scale entirely. And it's not like america has endless choices for settlement. Too many people, and if everyone moves away from the heartland, where are you going to get your food? The odds of getting hit by a tornado are incredibly low. The home you see in this video is an old farm home that's likely been there for 40 years and has never been touched by a tornado before now.

The warning system has improved so much over even just the last ten years. The death toll used to be in the double or even triple digits just ten years ago.
I am so very sorry for the victims of the tornadoes.

17?! Oh my gosh. I have 2 dear friends that live in Oklahoma. Thank you lord, they are all safe. Prayers for everyone in Oklahoma, for your loss & devastations, from a person here in Nebraska. We were hit this past Friday, but, we didnt have an outbreak of 17 tornados. Our state did encounter 6, & Iowa encounteted 12.
I was in the shut down traffic last night. So very sad for these people. Prayers.

Soon insurance companies will skyrocket their premiums and not cover tornados. Like here in California with fire.
Surprisingly it's not as common in certain areas. Different areas get hit from time to time. Insurance can make a lot of money still. California is beyond fixing. Lol
Like Florida with floods also. 9k for houses in the vicinity of water which is most of the state. Yes a rebuild will cost more than the value of the home.

I alway feel so sad when tornadoes destroy everything someone has worked for their entire lives. It’s even worse when someone you love dies. I’m so sorry for their loss and I hope everyone can pull their lives back together again quickly. My prayers 🙏for everyone affected by all these tornados.

I was watching these tornados form and suddenly drop on radar from a TH-cam channel. A storm chaser was following one that didn't form, then right behind him before he knew it, one dropped right on Sulfur, OK. Prayers for all 🙏

Lots of tornadoes, Ive heard this coming hurricane season is supposed to be one of the worst on record as well. We are getting battered everywhere. now we just need a massive drought and fire season on the west coast to tie everything together. Maybe the cascadia quake going off too. Yellowstone I don't see going off as a super volcano but maybe it could let off some steam.

i watched rtan hall once that guy is no weatherman i dont recall what weather event was happening here in my area but everything he said so far from what actually happened that i inew id never watch him again
@yeah_thats_me 27 reports of tornadoes, often though some of those will be 1 tornado that has traveled across multiple cities. So 2 or 3 reports of tornado can just be 1 tornado. We likely won't know final numbers for another day or two until they can get out to every single location and determine whether it was the same tornado or if it was seperate ones.

These storms are getting worse as a survivor of an f4 that hit in dayton ohio along with 14 other tornadoes. I don't want to be at any job without a basement because it's not safe or worth losing your life but jobs don't care

@@yeah_thats_meit changes the temperature, that's the idea behind the whole concept, block light to make the area cooler. When warm moist air from the gulf meets cool dry air from Canada is when we get tornadic conditions. So it could theoretically have an effect on weather patterns.

Tornado producing storms won't only make one tornado, not uncommon. Looks like we are going into a tornado outbreak unfortunately like possibly 2011 or 1977.

Not even a little 😂 we woke up Friday at 5 am to a tornado siren! But our city sounds them at 80 mph winds, as well as naders, because wind is super dangerous too, at those speeds.
From April to July those of us in the Midwest really don't sleep peacefully,. I'm moving somewhere else asap, at least if you have a basement and can sleep in the basement couch or something it makes it easier....

Right? Because we have land near Kendrick and there was a tornado 4 miles away but I don’t know exactly where. They just need to make a map because it can also help with travel like knowing where they went through and where to avoid when driving

My goodness, a 3 more like a 5
If it were a 5 the buildings would be leveled to ground level with no wall standing and some pads would be gone. Also bark would be peeled off of trees. And the wind speed would be measured at over 200 mph.
The damage in sulphur was bad but not that extreme and wind speed was about 135 mph making it an EF 3.
the buildings were weaker than buildings in bigger cities, the weaker the buildings the lower the rating
Sitting at the radars the past 48 hrs without sleep was so frightening!! It reminded me of the Greensburg KS tornado, the Mayfield KY tornado, the Lubbock TX tornado, and all of the Moore OK and El Reno OK tornados along with so many more I can’t think due to loss of sleep. EVERYONE should have underground shelters!
In the DFW area the soil is clay and limestone which requires a sump pump if anything below is built or it becomes full of water.
I saw the dangerous couplets on the velocity radar and the tornados seemed at times to train behind one another! I just kept praying for people not to be harmed, and be awake so they could get in their shelters.
So worried!! Tornados overnight are so frightening. It usually results in high casualties!! Today hearing of the four deaths, I was very shocked there weren’t more due to what I saw on Radar.
We get a couple days off then if forecast is right next week starts up again. Hopefully not as severe!!

pray for Sulphur guys, i’ve tried to post about this on our Reddit pages but moderators just remove them. Where do you go when there’s a tornado? Underground. Where do you go when the cellar is flooded with water?
When Mother Nature is doing her thing, the best thing we can do is just get the hell outta her way! The things we can replace, although disheartening. Prayers for the people affected!
