Adds 4 power only if you plan to play out Scorn at the end. A single game should target to hit Scorn 3x and play him out on T6. Collen + Blade on T3 is the best way to do so. Swordmaster is risky because he might hit MODOK. Cow is good only if you activate alongside MODOK on T5. Anyhow I've been loving Cow + MODOK plays on discarding Swarm on final turn (always activate Cow before MODOK), as it makes Morbius/Collector goes up to 20s/high teens.
Even if he's "good," I don't like the play pattern of War Machine, I don't think it's fun. I've already got Namora and I hate this variant tbh. I've been pretty excited for Misery, but the risk is too great for me here. I would have spent an extra key Scream week (got her first pull), but the point about both the others being S4 gave me pause. I was ready to drop 4 keys to get her though, she's my favorite card of the season despite the deck not necessarily being totally slamming, I think it's really fun. Toxin is a similar week for me, and to a lesser extent, so is Scorn. I really wanna get this in my Gambit deck 😂
I hate the fact that toxin and scorn are among cards that I either have or are weak. I both like bounce and discard archetypes but I don't see how I can get both without wasting hard earned keys.

I'm going to going for Elsa Bloodstone and her variant. I'm almost to 8 keys to be able to get her. I pulled zabu from a mystery card earlier this year so hopefully I save a key...
I'm not in love with any of these spotlights - I think Misery will be an interesting card and I need Namora so will try and open, not a big fan of discard but I also need Shaw so might try that one.
Honestly this whole season new cards definitely feels more niche season in every new card is for a specific arctypes. I spent more then i wanted for scream. I definitely going in hard gor nameroa because i tried hard on her previous box and failed. After that i might try gor toxin but i have no care gor scorn or anti venom so I'll skip those weeks.
Hopefully I can 1 key toxin cuz that’s the only one I’m gonna 100% get but honestly might get him with tokens, idk why all the supporting spotlights are so trash this season other than misery’s week makes me think she is going to be a really bad card
I think for this ranking format you should do 2 separate ranking. Because by this point there are numerous people having almost all the good cards in the 2nd and 3rd slot of spotlight, they are more likely planning to open spotlight purely for the new card alone, regardless of the 2nd/3rd cards of the week. Therefore, it should be 2 separate ranking: 1. Comparing the value of 3 cards of the week 2. Comparing the value of only the new card of the week
I cover the new cards alone in my season preview video. This video is specifically for the spotlight weeks, but new cards can be gained with tokens if you're only chasing the single card and the spotlight week doesn't matter for you.

On average, it takes 2.5 keys to get new card if you don't care about anything else in the spotlight. It takes 0.5 season to get 2.5 keys. Meanwhile it takes 1.5 season (at least) to get 6000 token.

The average keys required to get only the new card from spotlight is 2.5 keys which would take 0.5 season progression to get. Meanwhile to get the same new card using token takes 6000 token which would take (at least) 1.5 season progression to get. Granted sometime players gets lowrolled and took 4 keys to get the card they targeted. Even then it's still better more efficient than using token if said player has high collection percentage.
1000% Mobi M. Mobi should be a 1 cost maybe 2-3 power, maybe 4/5. his ability is nothing too crazy. A stat line like that would be cool. Plus it can be stopped two ways if it seems too strong. Man Thing should be 2/0 gains+4 power for every 1-3 cost he afflicts with negative power.
