The points might not have been there, but he played an incredible 200 foot game, had speed and hustle throughout his shifts, created many chances, and his confidence with his puck control seems to have grown immensely. He’s always had that skill, but it’s nice seeing him with the confidence to dangle and weave around everyone out there. Excited for his growth to continue! And did I see him on the top PP unit at the end of the game there? That’s something!
Was gonna comment this. I feel like we haven’t seen what he’s capable of so far in these games but his offensive creativity was definitely on full display this game
It's the first time since they started cutting his TOI for 6 games, that he was back on the PP for more then :02 seconds. That was great to see as well, hope to see more of it. He is a special talent for sure. It's a treat to watch him play hockey.

They're third in the league haha I think they're doing just fine when it comes to winning. That was a weird stretch of six games or so when he was getting very little ice time, but 16 minutes tonight is solid. If he can stay in the 15-17 min range, then the KHL is the best place for him to play this year.
