Great video Jacob, and Jen as Clarice was hilarious! It's not every day you get to stay overnight in a house where such an iconic movie like this was made. I actually met the director of the film, Jonathan Demme years ago when he was in my neighborhood directing a Bruce Springsteen music video.
I saw the film when it first came out while staying with friends in AZ and they had rented the DVD. Was told it was not a picture to see alone. Thank God. I adore Anthony Hopkins but this film was really one to make one jumpy.
The Buffalo Bills House is deemed a museum, but guests could stay in the joint to treat it as an Airbnb. If it were listed on Airbnb, it would fall under the OMG! category due to the cinematic props. The vacation experience would be sweeter with the functionability of the arcade machines.🔪
It took me a bit to realize the guy who played Buffalo Bill went on to play in Monk. Cool house. Love touring through old houses from the 1800's & 1900's that have been refurbished to be historically correct (or close to). Another good movie is Manhunter with William Peterson (of CSI) from 1986 based on Red Dragon.

The piano is actually a harmonium, an organ by which the airflow is generated by foot-operated bellows. My memory tells me that a harmonium was also in the movie, but i'll have to check that tonight or tomorrow by rewatching. Kudos to you Jacob, for being so up to date with quotes and details from the movie. That required some preparation. The atmosphere suddenly changed, when Jen Starling came in, who was also quite prepared for the event. Still spooky, but less horrifying. i hope you both had a wonderful night. As an experiment, i think it was a great success and i hope there will be some more of likewise surprises in the future.

Okay, Jacob. Come back to NJ and head upstate. You need to visit Space Farms Zoo and Museum as well as Wild West City. Space Farms is a family run zoo and has a car museum on site. WWCity is exactly what you would expect…Gunfights and saloons and bank robberies. North Jersey also has alot of urban legend spots to visit.
Some day you need to make it to my neck of the woods, catch a part of the kinetic grand championship, it's the original kinetic sculpture race. Definitely your kind of thing Jacob. Also have the trees of mystery, confusion hill, salmon exhibits

I grew up not far from there. On top of the tunnel that you drove through, there is an off road trail. Went to a couple keg parties up there in the early 90s, around the time that they filmed SOTL.

I’m having my vacation right now, and I’m at the “Caboose Motel”,at Titusville PA. Where you can sleep in a train car and it’s right next to a train station which you can ride a old train.
I'm from Pa and they just started selling beer in stores but, they don't sell wine or hard liquor. You have to go to a liquor store for that. I don't think I'd ever watch Silence of the Lamps, it's to creepy and horrifying for me. Your very brave wanting to stay there by yourself alone knowing what happened there. I don't think I could do it.
