SB19 was nominated in this year's Billboard Music Awards for the Top Social Artist category, along with BTS. BTS eventually won the fan-voted award again, besting the homegrown band along with global K-Pop giants Blackpink, Seventeen, and American pop superstar Ariana Grande.
Kim also shared what he looks for in their talents: passion and eagerness to become stars, all of which he sees in the boy band.
He likewise touted the 'distinctive nature' of each SB19 member, which ensures there is 'no redundancy' among the group. For instance, Pablo leads the group's musicality, as evidenced by his composition of their song lyrics. "Ken...he's like a natural-born great dancer. And Josh, he's a good rapper," Kim said.
Despite their success, ShowBT Philippines still keeps the boys under training, he added.

Meanwhile, Kim said they'll be announcing the names of their girl group's members this September.
"Thanks to the SB19, we plan to do an offline event if the circumstances will allow. We're trying to make them debut this coming December," he said.
Kim said the trainees for this upcoming girl group are currently undergoing fundamentals like dance and vocal training. They're doing these online at the moment given the COVID-19 pandemic, he explained, adding they will train in one place together once lockdowns are lifted.
I love SB19, I've been their fan since the beginning and I'm so glad they're getting the support and love they deserve and I love how Alex was singing some of the lyrics the second time, haha

What song... for me is one the powerful songs of SB19 of being a true Proud Filipino. the message expressing the feeling of being proud of your own roots your country your own flag 🇵🇭 being true blood Filipino. The message can be expressed by everyone whatever color and raise. SB19 journey and experiences before being judged, unrecognized but then they did not stop despite all the hate they got even from their own country men before they did not let them destroy their spirits instead they used it as their weapon from a positive perspective, they strive harder without hate in their hearts.

It means both Raising your own Flag along with overcoming all obstacles as well as raising your country’s flag proudly. In a way it conveys that doing so does not mean to use bullets for it. In the video it has a reference of the murillo velarde map of the philippines back in 1734 that shows the entire Philippine archipelago. It was also the map instrumental to winning our claim of the South China Sea (West Philippine Sea) over China (which of course we all know whats been going on).
