Pinoy Joyride - Circumferential Road 5 / C5 Road Joyride (2018 version)

- Did a 2018 version of Circumferential Road 5 or C5 Road. Started from the current northern end of C5 towards South Luzon Expressway. As of this documentation, there are on going works along Mindanao Avenue Extension . It was a fun relaxing drive along C5 Road. Please follow the truck lane rule of MMDA , there is a designated truck lane on some parts of C5 Road. Becareful when passing Pasig city roads, they have implemented tons of different traffic laws besides the ones implemented by MMDA.
Me also.. I miss SLEX without the skyway above.. Those were the days.. Thank you for your great effort.
It's very enlightening to witness the growth of the country thru the effort of this channel, bring our attention the progress of Transportation that will surely ease or eradicate the monstrous traffic jams not only in metro cities, but largely to the neighboring provinces other towns and cities as well.

Finally! When C5 Link gets completed, could you please do the whole C5 (from Las Piñas to Valenzuela and vice versa)? Also, you should've started from the actual northern terminus.

And the U-Turns ... I wonder how we in Germany can survive without those U-Turns. Haha.
I have been thinking of WHAT IF we just be RHD instead of LHD will that have effect on u turn slots? hehehehe
Germans ride cars in the same way RHD as the phils and have no U-Turns (motorways here are similar to the Tarlac Expressway or SLEX or so).
Thailand is LHD with many U-Turns similar to the C5 road, even on some expressways. In my eyes U-Turns crossing the central green strip of a motorway are very dangerous.
... maybe because I am not used to them , haha...
already six years ago, hopefully this 2024 may update sa C5 Road Joyride from Valenzuela via NLEX Harbor Link until sa CAVITEX C5 South Link (hopefully during the Holy week hehehe)

Thanks for this video!!! Sad to say, infrastructure even in NCR is really substandard. In most areas either putol, kulang, temporary, nilagyan muna ng barrier, walang ilaw, walang pintura, signage, landscaping, proper loading unloading, pedestrians walang sidewalk, etc... the list of mediocrity is endless. Uhh almost forgot most drivers esp PUVs are substandard

maybe becuz most gov't widening works don't include sidewalks.
a number of slower-moving vehicles at slex are staying on the innermost lane? is there no regulation for this on this hiway?

Mga establishment talaga hanggat may area sa gilid ng kalsada hala tayo.. Kung lahat magkusa na maglagay man lang ng pedestrian maganda sana tignan...kaso lahat walang kusa..pitpitan ng tayo sa gilid ng kalsada...
In 2010, the BGC North Pass flyover and SM Aura Premier didn't exist. I feel a bit sad about the memories of how it was back then.

We really need foreign contractors to come in and build our roads. Kung puro local contractors lang, bulok pa ring ang quality ng mga kalye natin. Ang good news lang, pumayag na ang gobyerno na pumasok ang mga malalaking foreign contractors sa pilipinas
0:23 This extension of Mindanao Avenue isn't part of N143. Mindanao Avenue is always N128. N143 is in Taguig City and it's component road is Gen. Paulino Santos Avenue.
9:52 Also, this part of C5 isn't part of N11 and is part of N129. 10:32 If you pass C P Garcia Avenue UP, while driving C5 southbound, you're in between the northern terminus of N11 and the southern terminus of N129.

In this version of C5, you shouldn't start in Karuhatan which is the north end according to Google Maps, instead you start in C5 Mindanao Avenue. In the next version of C5 which is 2019, you should start in Karuhatan, McArthur Highway and end in SLEX, or you can take SLEX to Filinvest which is a bonus.

that u turn slot going to quirino highway / sauyo. Thats a major bottleneck
That U-turn slot made the Quirino Tunnel useless. The main purpose was to segregate traffic flow coming from NLEX so that the intersection could be opened up to traffic and yet someone just insisted on not one, but two, U-turn slots annoyingly close to each other. We once almost got hit by a swerving jeepney trying to make it to the U-turn slot. Hope the LGU can do something about that already.
Wala akong Nakitang mga speed limit. I big sabihin kanya kanYang pabilisan ng takbo. Dito sa US every 5 miles nagiiba ng speed limit. Maraming Pulis Kung minsan pa nga nagtatago . Big yan ka ng ticket pag over speeding.
