Do you think you could build a monastery on the top of the mountain?? Think High Hrothgar from Skyrim. Super ancient and could have an area that people use on the main lvl to rest before they descend. Then an old shrine a lvl or 2 inside the mountain. Maybe a cave that was built over??

I think you should continue the story for the other lots. It so cool that the lot is abandoned. Like what if there was another abandoned lot that was visited by our friendly yeti haha. Or perhaps a yeti place.
I love the backstory to this build. lol! And I think your idea of the more 90s vibe with some older furniture mixed in, absolutely fits the overall story. Great job!

Also, an idea for the small lot at the top, it's supposed to be a summit I suppose, I've seen some videos of mount Fuji, and they usually have like a mountain lodge or at least close to the top! like an era to rest, eat, and sleep! often a restaurant (hot spring would be cool but a probably too little space) Another idea could be a small monk temple or shrine!

I was thinking did you see the movie that was inspired by a real story ( Alive ) True movie about a team of I think rugby players ( OMG SO GOOD ) .... was the andes mountains .... would be cool to have that plane there from strangerville and like a survival type build for them around it .... because your so good at that kind of thing.......... My question is, how did all of this stuff get up the mountain? I know its just a game, but a stove? A king bed? Fireplace? Sofa? Up a steep mountain?? My cabin is on the very top. And I only fashioned it with things that climbers can only carry on their backs. Wood piece by piece to slowly build the cabin, foldable chairs, and beds, sleeping bags, luggage, bags of food, first aid, a small radio, candles lanterns, small generators and plenty of buckets. tc... although your build looks great, and the story behind it is nice, it's a bit unrealistic.
I actually based this on real cabins built on mountains! I watch a lot of off-the-grid building types of shows, where they often don't have access to roads and use small planes or helicopters to deliver large items. And since this isn't the top of the mountain, I felt comfortable with how realistic it was. But mostly, it's a game. My main concern is to make the lot useful and fun. I'm ok with bending reality if needed since the Sims have to live within the confines of the game mechanics. 😊

I thought it was at the very top if the mountain, which can only be accessed by climbing. To me, it makes the game a bit more fun to add this type of realism. Knowing it would be difficult to bring up such items up such a high mountain otherwise. My cabin is at the very top. My imagination has it where they have the bare minimum up there. Enough food, buckets for carrying water, showering and disposing of their waste. Plenty of candles and lanterns, hot plate to cook, radio, plenty of batteries, etc. Things they can only really carry on their backs. The cabin alone was a time taking effort. Bringing each piece of wood and tools by visiting members on each climb, building it slowly. See, I have a back story too! Lol so please, I was only really teasing you. We all play our game the way we so choose. And your cabin looks really good, cozy. Mine is not cozy at all...just enough to survive while up there. Keep up the good work in your builds and stories!!
I love the mountains (the higher, the better) so your cabin sounds amazing! I haven't fully decided what to do with it yet, but the next lot up the mountain will be more bare bones. Maybe just some tents or something? I can't promise the same for the very top lot though, I might make it a temple! Lol.
