I got tears in my eyes. I am 25 right now, have job with good package, but still am not happy. Reason, papa is still not satisfied by what I do. I start hating me whenever my father compares me with someone, have always seen arguements in my house. If there is any parent here reading my comments, I beg you, please don't ruin yiur family happiness. Ghar bada hone se khushi nhi aati ghar me, aapas me pyaar se aati hai.. abhi bhi 25 ki age me padhai kar raha hu, taaki papa ko woh banke dikha saku jo woh chahte hai, aur unki nazro me mai.apne aapko useless na dekh pau. Aur ek imp baat, never scold your child in front of others, he will never be able to feel confident in front of them.

Hey, I'm so sorry to hear that for real and yeah I know you may have been conditioned to feel guilty whenever you do something (solely for you) that your parents do not approve of you must learn to recognize that it is not healthy for you to seek your parents approval your whole life. You can definitely be there for them and live your life the way you want to as well. It does not need to be either/or. You can have both. You just need to learn to sit with that feeling of guilt when they disapprove. Living your life the way you want is not selfish. Putting yourself first does not mean you are abandoning your parents. Disagreement does not equate to disrespect. You can make changes to the plan your parents made for your life if it does not suit you... and that is more than okay. Just wanted to let u know that ur the real champ man much respect bro for real and yeah please take care of yourself 🙏🙏🙏🙏.

Be stronger. Be motivated my friend. I'm 19 years old. I'm also facing this problem right now. It feels very bad i can understand. Whenever arguments happens, i just go out quietly and comes back after sometime when i feels good. So don't think too much about these. Have trust in yourself and just do it what you want. Now, I've no guts to share this vid. with my parents but I'm putting this video on my whatsapp status and going to tell my younger brother to see my status on Papa's phone and play this video during we all having dinner tonight cause, my brother is just 9 years old and he is too frank with my parents child type behaviour. Hope all goes well. ❤️

By watching this vedio i have realized that the way my parents have raised me and my siblings (even tho they have listened so much shitty thing) is the reason why we are not afraid of neither this society nor raising our voices and i have never been thankful enough to them for this.

I've personally witnessed my parents growing, each and every day & believe me it has been a beautiful experience 🌟
Also parents must realise this that they can teach their kids to fly,
But it is really difficult to control the direction of the flight.

I come from a family of Engineers IAS Officers,my family wanted me to get into either into engineering or into Civil Services because I was good at academics.I took both Biology and Mathematics as my major subjects to keep them and myself happy.I wanted to become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.My pre-med entrance exam (NEET-UG)score was low that's how ended up into Dentistry instead,and now I've somehow started preparing for NEET-PG entrance exam.

Some years ago,things changed drastically different..
my grades fell down,I lost my closest family members, I had health issues,my mom stopped talking to me,class fellows started avoiding me, sports, academics, friends,family, relationships;everywhere,
I failed miserably...
things were falling apart,
Indeed it took me a long time to mend these things.
The first and foremost lesson that I could learn was that
My parents disapproved of me,
But what I can't ever forget is that
They never disowned me.
I had them by my side when everyone else left.
The Almighty God made me realise everything.
I read this somewhere:
The only people who want the best for you are:
Your Parents,
Your wife,
Your kids,
and your family,
That walks together no matter what..
This indeed is true.
Being the youngest of the children,
I always used to be inquisitive and would question about everything;
Only in the yesteryears I realised that Obedience is trusting without doubt and following without questioning first.
Teenage years are equally difficult for both parents and their young daughters and sons.Retaliation, resentment, disagreement is a common issue in most families.
Inarguably, there is a generation gap.
But everything heals with time
This holds true even for kids whose parents are abusive....
There is light at the end of the tunnel...
I too worked greatly on mending these gaps some years back,
I started spending some time with my Mom in kitchen,even started watching some TV shows with her.
(I secretly hate T.V shows 😂)
Little things helped me in great ways
My parents were quite aware about my difficulties. I never told them,but they knew about it. That's what makes me love them even more.❤️
They are the reason that I live,
and because of them alone I exist in this world.
At last I would say this:
We all have differences
small or big,
we can always mend these differences.
Life is relationship in itself.
And without relationships,it holds no meaning.
