I reckon its a decent move. If they signed madge without hunt then madge has a huge halves issue all season with glass Reynold's and suspended mam; on the flip, hunt without madge just feels like the dragons where he does really well in a team that doesnt keep up with him. Madge can pick up the effort of the team across the board and hunt at least half fixes their chronic halves issue, plus can cover 9. Im not saying they will win but its a hell of a lot better start for 2025.
Now with Grant Anderson signing it eldudes to surely either Staggs or cobbo going And hes coming in 2026 Will be interesting to see who we keep from both

I don't see why they can't keep Cobbo and staggs. They're already currently signed for next year. Reynolds leaves at the end of this year. Surely you can split Reynolds money between cobbo, staggs and Moser

Reynolds is retiring at the end of next season. Hunt the season after. So in 1 season they get Reynolds money to use, in 2 seasons they will have hunts money to spend. Then there's all the deadwood...there's money there.
Ezra’s gonna be out for 12 weeks to a year so he can play 5 8 till Ezra’s back and when Ezra’s back they can put Walter’s on the bench and put hunt at 9 and plus good back up for Reyno if Reyno gets injured
