Been watching a South African TH-cam channel describing MDT products that I am yearning after and didn't even realize I live in the same town that MDT is made in. 😀👍 I learned about MDT on your channel and was for some reason under the impression that MDT products would be hard to get a hold of in Canada. I laughed at myself when I found out their manufacturing facility is 30km from my house. 😀 Not so hard to get ahold of after all. Thanks for the great videos.
Can't wait to get some more baboon hunting videos. Being from Texas it's absolutely fascinating to watch you hunt baboons. Out here our main pest that we're waging war on is the feral hog but I'd love to try my hand at a creature as intelligent as the baboon. Our hogs on the other hand are pretty stupid. And definitely deck out that Oryx chassis all the way! Love your custom camo jobs.
Looking into running an oryx and a vertical grip. Gotta say this is probably one of - or the best - video on the MDT grip. Packed full of info and you’re very relaxed and entertaining behind the camera without being too rigid or goofy like other “reviewers”. I clicked the subscribe button. QUESTION: I’ll search a little more but if you don’t already have a vid covering it, is it possible to post a vid on what the oryx buttstock area looks like without the skins on it? Again, great job and review.
at 0:47 the MDT logo is off to the right of the screen. Also at 13:35 the text is off to the left (there is a few right after that as well). Otherwise, quality is great as always. I am really interested in how you did that backwall. Looks like a blueish black paintjob or maybe the light has a blue hue? Awesome.

An ambidextrous chassis should be introduced into MDT's vocabulary. I did today get an email of these vertical grips and bolt knobs being available in different colours.

Great vid Piet. Would love if you did a video on rifles and rifle calibers and tips. I’m 14 and I love your vids and I am going to shoot my first actual gun (.22 lr) on my grandpa’s farm. I go on hunting trips with my grandpa, but he shoots and I guide and would love to start shooting.
Hey Pieter, got the ORYX equipped with that grip, but would not fit into any of my gunbags since. Bottom end of grip to top of turret is 30cm, any advice welcome!
It's longer than it needs to be, no matter how big your hand or bag is. Old Balls makes a shorter and fatter shell for it, or you could mold or print your own, or take a saw to it. MDT is also working on a new version that looks a little more reasonable.

Watch you strelok video again now that i have used the app a while i understand it better. Ringing steel with ease now to 400meters. Even my old 303 rifle that i tought cant shoot past 300meters. Love to shoot old guns also.
I had the grip in my cart on the MDT site the other day but cancelled, and now after watching this video I don't know if it's that much of a "game changer"... And BTW, you seem to have a very unorthodox grip - look at how much tension is in your hand tendons. That could be part of your problem. Your trigger finger is way more than 90 deg & the other 3 are all crossed up like they're playing Twister. See for yourself @ 8:35
