- This is a residential elevator installed in a large house. I don’t have an interest in elevators, but it’s not every day you see one in a house.

Nice video. I’ve never seen an elevator in a home before but that would be fun to have!
Thanks for sharing, could you give me a call to talk about making a pedestrian sign flash/ blink? Thanks skip in Alabama
Just wondering since you said it's a large house does have a fire alarm system or just smoke alarms or what
There are smoke alarms, however this house also has a security system with a fire alarm portion. It has System Sensor i3 4 wire smoke detectors and speakers to play a code 3 tone for fire and a siren tone if the security portion activates. The system is currently powered down and is not in use.
You should put a in case of fire do not use elevator label
That would be cool!
Cool! Is there a fire elevator recall on this? Thanks!
Thanks! No recall for this elevator, but that would be really cool if did. I’m not even sure if residential elevators can have a fire recall or not.
@@EZ250 You could get a commercial elevator installed in your house if you had the money for it. But you need 3 phase power to run a commercial elevator which means your electric bill will be more expensive. I’m also guessing that commercial elevators cost more than residential elevators.
@@hilo2-est3-elev Everything you said is true, including how commercial elevators cost more than residential ones.
The home elevators are always so small. Some you can’t even sit on the floor if you get stuck. Saw one elevator installed at a residence, it was 4’ x 8’. It was made by Dover. The owners wanted an elevator large enough to haul furniture to whatever floor, there was a basement, first floor, second floor and third floor. The elevator was saved from a condemned building, was all reassembled in this house, it ran very well although a bit slow, still better than hauling a large couch or fridge to the third floor.
Savria. Makes home elevators, Lula, and i think wheelchair lifts
