It is SO refreshing to see handmade clothing that not everyone else on YT or Instagram is making simply because it is trendy. Linda, your clothes are absolutely lovely on you, particularly the Maynard dress and the boiler suit. And that boiler suit is very feminine precisely because of the fabric you chose and the way you wear it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful makes and, more importantly, your clothing philosophy. Looking forward to your next video!
Love Love Love. Thank you. So relatable. Your mother, creativity, evolution of self. The simplicity of your video (not the usual over-stimulation noise, video craziness) is so lovely. Subcribed.
Your style is close to mine, but I make my clothes out of knit fabrics. I think instead of casual, your word is CLASSIC. Maybe comfy classic, then feminine/romantic.
What a totally unique approach to analyzing your wardrobe choices & how you feel when wearing each item! Very thought provoking... thanks for sharing 😊. Now to go & look at my wardrobe to see its value to me. 👍👍👍
I love your "you are what you wear" philosophy! I feel the same way. Even as a kid my dad wouldn't allow me to go anywhere looking like a tomboy. I always had to look 'girlie'. Now I have to look feminine.
Great segment and I subscribed! Great to see some unusual styles and hearing your thoughts about maturing. I started sewing because I couldn’t find clothes that fit or liked. I no longer buy clothes, have fewer, they’re well made and wear them all the time. The only challenge for me is fabric (access). I get inspired by the feel and look of fabric. Hard to do online.
Hi, I totally agree. I've bought fabric online and then you get it... and it doesn't always work. You really need to feel it. I'm frustrated there are less and less places to buy fabric. Mood in NYC is pretty good, but even there I can't always find what I want. I wish for a cool, small fabric shop like a cool, small bookstore...
Hiya Linda, just found you, new subscriber! Out of all the patterns you showed, I was like, ok, that Maynard dress, Need! Looked it up and absolutely gutted that the pattern is no longer available! Everything about it is exactly my style. It doesn’t look like the designer will be re-releasing it either. Now I will be searching forever for a “replacement” pattern. Glad to have found you. 🌺
Oh my gosh, Linda! The boiler jumpsuit you made is FABULOUS. It's bold and feminine and practical. Thanks for sharing. I just discovered your channel. You have a thoughtful, low-key vibe that speaks to artists everywhere. 🙂
Hiya Linda 👋🏻 just found ur channel & after watching ur video I subscribed straight away 😁 love ur choices but that jumpsuit in the fabric u chose blew me away l absolutely love 😍 it & it looks gorgeous on u 😁 I gotta make it 😁 I was always wearing jumpsuits in the early 80’s when I was a teenager (where do the years go 😬) now I’m gonna binge watch the rest of ur videos 😂 looking forward to the next vid u do hun 👍🏻 thanks from Bev xx
I shout that I might recommend that you share the sleeves and neckline as you share your makes, so that we can admire the style o each. Your blue floral long sleeved shir, those are sunflowers, that bloom in the fall. thank for sharing your lovely style.

Hi, thanks so much for this lovely note!
Seems like your words are feminine, dramatic, relaxed. Love your makes!
Hi, someone else said relaxed, that feels like an option. Thanks for watching!
Hi Linda! So glad to find you. Thanks for sharing, I'm inspired.
Thank you so much for watching!

Hi, thanks for this, it's really helpful. I like classic. I had romantic as one of my words before also, so maybe I'll bring it back, feels right.
Intriguing is definitely one of the words for your style. Love how you have come to terms with it.
That's a great choice, thanks so much for watching.
You are an original.
Linda! I’m so glad I found you. I relate to sewing being away to feel close to your mom. So well done. Thank you!
Hi, thanks so much for writing to me and for watching it!

This was so interesting…thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
What you said about our identity (and style) getting formed early in our lives really resonated with me. Thanks for the video!
Right... I think it might be interesting to do a little more research on the subject and make a video... thanks for watching!
Classic is a good word for your wardrobe.
Thank you for that! And thanks for watching, I appreciate it.
Beautiful garments. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, thank you so much for the lovely comment! I really appreciate the feedback on what I'm doing with the videos... still getting the hang of it.
Well done you, sewing what you enjoy wearing. I also sew and actually wear what I sew, which are mostly skirts.
Thanks so much for watching and for writing.
First time watching.. you do incredible work.. Thank you
Thank you so much, and thanks for watching.
Hello Linda! I just found you. And I am very happy. Love your style and the clothes that you create. Have a good day! Elise
Hi, thank you so much!
LINDA!! At age 64 I am going through the same thing: I don’t want to wear fitted clothes + that’s OKAY!! Lovely makes…you’re gorgeous + unique!
Hi, thanks so much for the lovely comment and support!
I'm in the same mode, getting back into sewing after decades. And a very casual lifestyle.

Sunflowers! Thank you. In the moment of recording I had no idea... thanks for the suggestion also.
Linda, I just found your channel today.
Hi, thanks so much for watching!
New sub here! Super video and makes! Maybe instead of “casual” you might try “relaxed” ?
I got that suggestion from someone else, thank you so much. And thanks for watching!
I think your style is casual chic? great style nonetheless
Hi, thank you! I really like this idea, maybe I'll hyphenate it and change my first word to casual-chic. Thanks for the lovely comment.
Does comfortable feel any betterfor your everyday word?
Hi, yeah, getting closer, that's the idea right... thank you so much for watching!
