I have to say, I have seen angel beats. I thought it had its sad moments, but i did not cry. I recommend Clannad and/or Clannad After Story (Clannad After Story will make you sob). I have started watching this anime (Noragami) and so far it is really interesting. It was hard to understand at first, but I soon caught on to what was going on. It moves at a really good pace and I love the colors they use and the character development so far. I still haven't finished it though.

It's worth watching and it doesn't really have any romance in it, there are couples in it but they don't really do anything romantic and you can basically watch the whole anime without noticing that the two are a couple
