Cobb Knobbler, yes those are one of the rare albums on my Ipod where instead of downloading 5 or 6 songs, you don't even hesitate to download the whole thing. In fact I think thats pretty much Static-X's whole library!

Wayne Static died November 1st (?) 2014 of a drug and alcohol overdose. Some of his songs are indeed about drugs. He has a video he made with his wife Tara (ex-pornstar) that shows how he lived. Police had to break through his home because everyone thought he was gone. When they broke into the house, they found Wayne partying and doing drugs. He had a time where he was clean, but when he died he was drinking a lot and having some anti-depressing type pills. His wife died 2 years later. She killed herself because of the depression she carried since Wayne's death. Brother, if you want to really know some song about drugs, check Alice In Chains. Compare the lyrics of these songs: Real Thing, Junkhead, Would?, Angry Chair, Down In A Hole and Again. Through these songs (and many more) you see Layne's point of view about drugs changing. He went from the "Heroin and Cocaine are good" to "I'm dying because of Heroin and Cocaine" He passed away April 5th 2002, bring found only 2 weeks after his death. Layne died of an overdose, by mixing Heroin and Cocaine. 2 of many great musicians that we lost to drugs.
She seemed to be his problem though. His band mates couldn't stand her. She inserted herself into everything. At least that's what I recall from years ago.

Cold is slow and boring. Thats like 1 and only song that I dont like from Static X. Its like "The Only" ,the only song from album Shadow Zone that is slow and obviously made for radio or tv album representations. But all other songs on that album....masterpieces of Static X.
I thought I was going to die in a Static X mosh pit at the Metropol in Pittsburgh about 23 years ago. (I think it was the summer of '99) Some huge dude knocked me down and i saw bodies closing in above me. Then about six different hands grabbed me and pulled me back on my feet. I did get a broken rib through. The show was Dope, Static X, and then Fear Factory. It was a good show, and the first time I'd heard Dope.

Saw Static-X here in IL this year. Even if Wayne is no longer with us, they still put on a sick show. They did have a frontman who did have similarities with Wayne, which helped stay true with the band’s sound.

I was lucky enough to see and meet static X when they 1st made their debut at OZZFEST '99(my 1st concert btw) on the 2nd stage with so many other up and coming bands Long before they made it big Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest 1999. The festival featured these bands: Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Deftones, Primus, Godsmack, System Of A Down, Drain, Fear Factory, (Hed)pe Static X, Pushmonkey, Slipknot, Puya, Flashpoint, and Appartment 26. So many great memories 🥁🎶🎸🎶🎤
I met Static-X on their first ever national tour with Fear Factory. The show got cancelled but Static-X still showed up at the record store and did their autograph signing. They had a lot of line up changes through the years but almost everyone in the band was always very cool with fans.... I actually lost my virginity to them and Fear Factory my junior year.... Hip-Hop, listen to some fucking Fear Factory! You can't have Static-X without Fear Factory!!!

I met Static-X on their first ever national tour with Fear Factory. The show got cancelled but Static-X still showed up at the record store and did their autograph signing. They had a lot of line up changes through the years but almost everyone in the band was always very cool with fans.... I actually lost my virginity to them and Fear Factory my junior year.... Hip-Hop, listen to some fucking Fear Factory! You can't have Static-X without Fear Factory!!!

PC, PS1 or [other] release? As for ~ 3D , I know that was the title used on the PAL PS1 title whereas PS1's NTSC-U title was called 'Total Meltdown' and had PS1 system link play between a pair of serial cable connected PS1s, IIRC, each loaded with a copy of the game.
