I now know why I love and enjoy watching your program; you’re both intense lovely people. Your van, boot scrapes, yew trees, damm the rain! Full cheese, with Branstons(?)sarnies ahead!
Thanks Richard and Julia, driven past the road to Sullington church lots of times, maybe will stop next time. Didn't know there is a cafe there too, even better! Lovely to be able to explore parts of Sussex you are both showing me xx
Enjoyed This Video Richard & Julia! What A Lovely Hat, Amazing Church & Tree - Together With A Fine Piece Of Mime All In Such A Superb Setting. Great Seeing You Both Again Out Enjoying Life!! 😊 😊
What better way to spend a Sunday when it's raining. You certainly made the most of the day and that was such an enjoyable video. Thank you Richard and Julia
Oh, how wonderful....you are both soooo talented creative ....I think it is very important, in which area you make the things that comes from your heart. I hope you can understand what I mean. In England it is soooo green everywere..... In Austria it ist winter, with all his facettes! I also like trees, they are so much more then wood. Best wishes for the lovely Julia and you Richard
Sharing from the heart Michaela transmits high vibrations and goodness, yes highly important it be, for our enrichment, thank you much. Extra special protection rings, may there be around you, too many sad entities showing their selves at the moment. Thankfully we have and hold higher beings, collectively, all greater strength that we are.
That was quite a good mime actually! I’m thinking you could take over as grandpa in my pocket Richard, when James Bolam retires or bites the dust! The perfect stage personality for it!
I'd love to hear Julia & the choir she's in, sing. Even better in that barn. Could that be possible or even hear Julia sing & play her guitar again? Also, Richard, have you any more ghostly Christmas tales? Have a fabulous week in the run up to the 25th & I'll be watching you over the Christmas period too. Merry Christmas & here's to a better, safer & healthier 2022 to you & your family. To Julia & her family also. X
as everyone says, lovely video and think we are jealous of how you can make a wet day so enjoyable. Love Sullington and nice to see David Brown tractor is in the dry...got a day off Fri and you have finalised my plans. Sullington it is.
What a great video. From the house, thought peering in your fridge novel, eating lunch in the van and to top it all a lovely walk around the church grounds in Sullington. Most enjoyable
You are rocking the hat Richard and yes Julia's is on the needles :) Thank you once again for the mention- it's wonderful to have some of your lovely viewers stop by my channel. Loved that yew tree! If only they could talk. What stories they could tell. And what a stunning barn! Hope you get to have a tour around the church on a future video
me too Veronica : ) many of us also share this thought with you, welcome aboard, well worth checking out the Vobes Show you might like too, at 8pm tonight.
I love trees also. Dame Judy Dench "My Passion for Trees" suggested trying to hug a tree. I did so - bare chested - in Friston Forest (making sure no one was looking!) and found it a wonderful experience. You can hear it, and feel it. Trees have soul! I now get rather distressed if I see a tree being chopped down. Lovely earrings Julia.
Richard and Julia enjoy their lunch in van nice place to be lover tree Julia like here trees very interested nice church by farm I enjoyed watching it Richard nice place visit thack you
Really great these vids of yours, brings a bit of joy to my life here in Bulgaria. And your friend Julia is FAB.. lucky man you are.. I'm not in love with her, as 10cc used to sing, but, it's because....
Thank you for the explanation on the yew tree Richard 😁 Great job presenting the barn Julia. Would love to see you more especially presenting churches next time. Thank you you two. 😘
There is something quite magical about old churches, you have to wonder how many people have scraped their boots over the centuries. Have you tried cup a soups , heinz tomato or chicken are really good , saves washing up the saucepan.
Have you explored Sullington Warren? When you go down the hill from the church, go straight across the A283 into Water Lane, and there is a car park on the left opposite the quarry. It's a National Trust property, and 60-odd years ago I often walked there with my girl-friend who lived in Sullington. It would be good to see it again. You'll find the place on Google Maps and it's quite a good size for a ramble when you want something not too energetic. Little Joe would love it, I think. There's even the preserved remains of an old windmill if you can find it. You can check it out on the National Trust website.
Loving the vids keep up the good work. Just a slight criticism ....I love soup same as you but maybe treat the lovely Julia to something a little bit other than soup once in a bit? Other than that your spot on .....
um...let's all meet with placards outside Richard's house, and just let him know.......purple for the main mic on the Lovely Julia Show !! take overs are good and needed at times eh? hehe ! ; )
Coffee is every bit as English as tea. I am pretty sure that people were drinking coffee in England before tea. So glug on the bean to your hearts content. Personally I prefer tea but we are all different.
I guess you know Julia that English ( European ) Yew trees contain toxins that can be absorbed by the skin and can be very poisonous although I have never heard of anyone having problems !!!
The issue is if one were to ingest any part of the yew tree with the sole exception of the flesh of the berry, although the seed is also toxic and must not be eaten. Other than that, sitting for hours underneath the yew boughs in the heat of summer will leave a person very unwell due to the sap falling from the 'sweating' leaves onto the skin, as you say. Or so I've heard!

I’d definitely clean that fridge out, someone’s left a video camera in there.😉
It gets everywhere that damn camera!
You gave me a chuckle there Daley, ta : )

Another heart-lifting video. Thanks. Love your jumpers. 👍🏻🏴
Thanks so much! 😊
The ability to just get in the van and make lunch on a bad weather day makes it so much brighter. Lovely film 👍
Thanks, Ricky!
Wonderful stuff thanks to you both
Why was I not surprised that as soon as we saw a stage Richard starts to perform! Thanks, nice barn and tree, hope you got in the church.
All great fun!

Great video Richard, nice spot of lunch, a lovely Church and such a lovely looking old yew tree.

Love that!
You make cheering up a miserable day effortless and that yew tree was amazing 🙂. Thank you both for another fantastic video.
So glad!
Coffee table for Xmas, Richard?. Beautiful all-metal Cafetiere jug!
Another excellent video with a great contribution from Julia. Thank you both.
Our pleasure!
You two are lovely.Get cooking a Sunday roast xx
Thank you Richard and Julia for a great video, that Yew Tree is amazing, just think of the history that it has witnessed!
Make mime a Sunday singing session in the Barn with Julia. Cheers from Tasmania.
Nice upbeat video Richard.
Thank you.
I've been to the church and cafe as a break from an amble along the South Downs Way. It's quite a trek back to the SDW but worth it!
Loving the hat 👍
Thank you for your filming. Great shots. 👍
Beautiful (everything)
Brilliant

Lovely to hear Julia talk about the barn and the Yew tree. I would love to see a video of her practicing with the quire. Thanks Richard, super video.
Great suggestion!
An enjoyable video thanks. Roof Window= Velux I think. Could that building have been a former Tithe Barn?
The building with velux windows was the old stables I think and the barn is called Tithe barn so I would assume it had been x
Sullington church is indeed a lovely spot. Would love to sing in the barn. (Was singing with a group at a folk night in the village hall last night)
Sounds like fun!
@@RichardVobes it was a hoot! Lots of christmas songs, lots of laughter and friends x
It would be lovely to have you join us Jackie.. I can't remember where you are though x

We have done loads of churches :)
Yep!
The poisanas taxas bacarta yew tree.
Used for making longbows in middle ages.
Legend has it they have magical powers too.
Love the fireside chat 😁
Thanks very much.
What a treat! Cheers Richard 🖖

Ah yes, I have made a video there.
@@RichardVobes I must see if I can find it. I know you did one at the Warren at Washington, just off the A24, but that's not the same place.
Another lovely yew with Julia too!
(I’m a poet but I don’t know it 😜)
Only missing bit is the wine.
Wine? I don't drink and drive. :)
@@RichardVobes bollocks, I didn't think of that. I thought a bit of camping was in order or some strong tea to wash away the wine.
Fridge looks empty, I could be wrong tho.
Pretty empty

I turn them off, yes.
@@RichardVobes I see.
Tea seems to give no caffeine boost to me. I may be drinking the wrong kind, or have caffeine tolerance from coffee but tea perks me up not at all .
I agree that I cringe when I see you making instant coffee. But to each his own.
Long before we had tea or coffee; we drank hot chocolate is we were wealthy; or "small" beer if poorer.
